Charged £70.00 for a flea treatment which they didn't administer due to our pooch been too stressed. £35.00 for a consultation on what? I told them she needed a flea treatment. The vet felt Ruby was too stressed and advised we give it to her at home................that cost us £35.00 then the treatment itself was another £35.00. The receptionist when questioned just repeatedly barked (pun intended) thats the standard fee, thats the standard fee, thats the standard fee. Use some common sense this is disgusting and extortionate!

I'm fuming with the way iv been treated by these vets. I took my dog into their surgery at the beginning of January 2019 for a castration and his cherry eye operated on. Castration went great I'm happy with that. But his cherry eye not happy. Ok the vet did say that maybe in time to come his cherry eye could come back back. I payed nearly £600.00 pound for the 2 operations After the operation everything was fine 4wks later his cherry eye came back. I rang the vet and thay said the vet who did gismo was on holiday so he had to see a different vet I had to pay more money for drops for his eye as it was infected. The vet said his eye would need operating on again and it would cost me £600.00 pound. I asked to speek to the vet who did gismos operation but I keep getting fobbed of no way am I paying £600.00 as it didn't cost me that at the beginning. Thay say thay care for animals no thay don't thay just care about making money.

I love the practice my elderly dog might disagree but the staff are always friendly and concerned we been coming back and forth now for a few months and nothing is to much trouble the vets always treat the dogs with dignity even when one of ours had to be put to sleep after woulds the vet left us in the room with our beloved pet until we was ready to leave so we could say our good byes

Thank you Sam and your team for the prompt and courteous service you gave us this morning when we brought our aged cat, "Boots" into your surgery. We were completely happy with your expert assessment in respect of our cat.
After removing the offending claw she seems to be much more comfortable and is doing what she does best and that is sleeping in her basket. We do understand that at her age your advice regarding her mobility issues would not warrant any surgery. Best to let her see out the rest of her life in relative comfort and we know that climbing trees will be out of the equation.

The rating "I loved it" is inappropriate under the circumstances, but 5 definitely fits the bill. Unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes to Ronaldo, our 18 year tabby, and my wives pride and joy. The staff at Holderness Road branch were extremely understanding and compassionate, right from making that initial phone call we had been trying to delay as long as possible As you can imagine, the thought of taking him for that final trip, and wait in the waiting room was not nice. As soon as I approached the counter I could hardly speak his name to check him in, straight away the excellent receptionist ( sorry I didn't get your name ) ushered us straight into a spare consulting room to try make things easier for everyone. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at at he Hedon Haven veterinary for there kindness as we had to put our seven year old staffy "Rocky"put to sleep on Monday.This was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do and still so upset by the whole thing,but the way in wich all the staff were with us was so nice.I dont know the vets name but he was so nice to us all the way through,explaining the process . He was so caring towards us and Rocky and treat him as if it was his own dog,He made what was such an awful thing to go through as comfortable as possible and was treat with compassion and respect,i thankyou all for your understanding . Bye the way we even recieved a sympothy card this morning from Haley and staff from the vets with his paw print on .How nice is that ! So thankyou all so much from the Cooke family xx

The vets at Haven Veterinary Group, Holderness Road, Hull, were very helpful and so caring when it came to diagnosing and looking after my cat Barney McCarthy right up until the end. Nothing was too much bother for any of them. A big thank you to Phillip the vet who first diagnosed Barney with Lynphoma and all the other vets who looked after him throughout his treatment.
Finally to Sam and Ruth who came down to see Barney in his last days on Sunday 23rd August 2015.
Keep up the great work.
You are all wonderful.
And not forgetting the reception staff who must see some very upset people, and have to be sympathetic.

I'm fuming with the way iv been treated by these vets. I took my dog into their surgery at the beginning of January 2019 for a castration and his cherry eye operated on. Castration went great I'm happy with that. But his cherry eye not happy. Ok the vet did say that maybe in time to come his cherry eye could come back back. After removing the offending claw she seems to be much more comfortable and is doing what she does best and that is sleeping in her basket. We do understand that at her age your advice regarding her mobility issues would not warrant any surgery. Best to let her see out the rest of her life in relative comfort and we know that climbing trees will be out of the equation.

The rating "I loved it" is inappropriate under the circumstances, but 5 definitely fits the bill. Unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes to Ronaldo, our 18 year tabby, and my wives pride and joy. The staff at Holderness Road branch were extremely understanding and compassionate, right from making that initial phone call we had been trying to delay as long as possible As you can imagine, the thought of taking him for that final trip, and wait in the waiting room was not nice. As soon as I approached the counter I could hardly speak his name to check him in, straight away the excellent receptionist ( sorry I didn't get your name ) ushered us straight into a spare consulting room to try make things easier for everyone. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at at he Hedon Haven veterinary for there kindness as we had to put our seven year old staffy "Rocky"put to sleep on Monday.This was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do and still so upset by the whole thing,but the way in wich all the staff were with us was so nice.I dont know the vets name but he was so nice to us all the way through,explaining the process . He was so caring towards us and Rocky and treat him as if it was his own dog,He made what was such an awful thing to go through as comfortable as possible and was treat with compassion and respect,i thankyou all for your understanding . Bye the way we even recieved a sympothy card this morning from Haley and staff from the vets with his paw print on .How nice is that ! So thankyou all so much from the Cooke family xx

The vets at Haven Veterinary Group, Holderness Road, Hull, were very helpful and so caring when it came to diagnosing and looking after my cat Barney McCarthy right up until the end. Nothing was too much bother for any of them. A big thank you to Phillip the vet who first diagnosed Barney with Lynphoma and all the other vets who looked after him throughout his treatment.
Finally to Sam and Ruth who came down to see Barney in his last days on Sunday 23rd August 2015.
Keep up the great work.
You are all wonderful.
And not forgetting the reception staff who must see some very upset people, and have to be sympathetic.
