We have used Chants Vets since they first opened their practice, for our current dog Boris, all his foster cats and kittens, and all my previous pet dogs and cats who lived long lives. We love the service here, Sarah is very professional, she listens, and explains everything in such a calm, caring manner that instantly puts you at ease, her knowledge is amazing and always up to date with new research and treatments, her surgery skills are the neatest i've seen, you can see her passion for animals in the way she handles your precious pets, she tries her very best to give you options within your budget where possible, and she is backed up by a fabulous team, the nurses are so caring with the animals they are treating, and also show such kindness and compassion to worried owners too, I have absolute trust in them everytime I visit, even more so during the pandemic, my Boris recently need an operation and knowing those lovely nurses would be with him while I couldn't be due to Covid-19 made a difficult situation much less stressful. The reception staff are so welcoming, you are always greeted at the desk with a happy face, nothing is too much trouble, I have never had any difficulties getting an appointment, many of which have been the same day, phone calls are answered with the same friendly, helpful manner. 5star service in every respect!!

I have just taken a few minutes to read the negative reviews for this vets because I could not disagree more. I have used this vets for years and the staff and vet have always been exceptional. Unfortunately one of my dogs was very ill and had to be put to sleep last week. The vets advise was thoughtful and with my dogs best interests at heart. I could not recommend this practise enough!!!

My dog Tyson has been going to chants vets for years now and we have always received a good service. He absolutely loved the vet Sarah she always put him at ease and kept him calm. She also managed to get him out of the neck of woods on more then 3 occasions with emergency operations when the odds was up against him so thank you. Unfortunately today Tyson's time was up as age caught up with him and who was there again to put him at ease was Sarah and she took good care of him yet again. Highly recommended theses guys!

What a joke this place is, I took my dogs here for their yearly vaccinations. And when asked if all in good health I told the vet I had taken one of my dogs to a different vet in what I thought was an emergency. I explained that I only have the car on weekends so in emergencies or urgent matters I have to take him to this vets near me as I couldn't get to chants. She refused to do the vaccinations and pretty much threw me out and told me to go to this other vets in future and not to come here again. Very rude!! I have found this particular vets attitude very abrupt and unfriendly on previous visits anyway.

I have been using Chants Vets for around 3 years with my pet rabbit and 3 cats and can praise their services to the highest degree. I have often dealt with Sally who is wonderful and treats my pets as if they are her own and is extremely empathetic towards me too. I visited the surgery today with my cat after having an emergency appointment earlier last week were my cat was dealt with immediately and my mind put to rest about his symptoms. Again today I met a different vet who I've not seen before who laid all my troubles to rest and extensively explained my pets issues and how that could be treated by himself and in the long term by me at home. His consultation with me was exceptional. The reception staff are lovely and always indulge my endless tales of mad pets! Having had bad experiences in the past with vets I am so happy myself and my pets have found such a reliable and lovely place for them to be cared for.

After reading other reviews and also general conversation about this vets I cannot believe I was even tempted to go here. It was only for the fact that my young daughters little rabbit was obviously very very poorly and I live round the corner that I went. On Monday we found our rabbit (who the day before was still bounding around) lying in her cage looking like she may have had a stroke. This was at 4pm. I literally ran to the vets and was there within 10 mins. After explaining everything etc I was told there was a 47 emergency fee which I said no problem I'll pay whatever but please please see her as I think she is dying! I was told to take a seat and 10 mins later I had to ask what was going on. The young receptionist said don't worry you will be seen but as you haven't an appointment it will be whenever you can be fitted in but don't worry we close at 6pm you will be seen before we close. After it had sank in what she had said I asked what the hell was I paying an emergency fee of 47 for then as you are obviously not treating it as an emergency!! I said forget it and ran home, and drove to Vets4Pets on County Road. It took me an extra 20 mins and all in all 1 hour from arriving at Chants Vets. They were absolutely wonderful, I got seen within 5 mins. Unfortunately the poor rabbit couldn't be saved as was too ill and in pain but I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I received at your vets. You need to take off your website that emergencies will be seen straight away during the day as obviously they are not and that is a blatantly misleading. Or is it that you just don't think a seriously ill rabbit is an emergency. Definately money orientated and definately would NOT recommend to anyone!

I used Chants Vets for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I could not be happier with the service they provide. After adopting my cat, she has been here for her kitten package (very good value) neutering procedure and for stitches after a nasty cut to the leg. Each time she received personalised and detailed after care notes, follow up calls and with very quick recovery times. I also purchase all the her Flee/worming treatments here as I trust the helpful advice they are always willing to share :) I could not recommend enough! x

Not sure who is reviewing this place but I am disgusted by the way my Mother was treated at this vets and I am not the only person who is disappointed at the lack of concern and empathy this vet has. Telling my mother "don't forget to pay on your way out" when she is having to put her dog to sleep is probably the least humane vets I have ever experienced. Disgusted. Nurses are lovely but female vet is absolutely rude, abrupt, inhumane and frankly I am dumbfounded why your are in this profession!

We have used Chants Vets since they first opened their practice, for our current dog Boris, all his foster cats and kittens, and all my previous pet dogs and cats who lived long lives. I have just taken a few minutes to read the negative reviews for this vets because I could not disagree more. I have used this vets for years and the staff and vet have always been exceptional. Unfortunately one of my dogs was very ill and had to be put to sleep last week. The vets advise was thoughtful and with my dogs best interests at heart. I could not recommend this practise enough!!!

My dog Tyson has been going to chants vets for years now and we have always received a good service. He absolutely loved the vet Sarah she always put him at ease and kept him calm. I have often dealt with Sally who is wonderful and treats my pets as if they are her own and is extremely empathetic towards me too. I visited the surgery today with my cat after having an emergency appointment earlier last week were my cat was dealt with immediately and my mind put to rest about his symptoms. Again today I met a different vet who I've not seen before who laid all my troubles to rest and extensively explained my pets issues and how that could be treated by himself and in the long term by me at home. I said forget it and ran home, and drove to Vets4Pets on County Road. It took me an extra 20 mins and all in all 1 hour from arriving at Chants Vets. They were absolutely wonderful, I got seen within 5 mins. Unfortunately the poor rabbit couldn't be saved as was too ill and in pain but I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I received at your vets. You need to take off your website that emergencies will be seen straight away during the day as obviously they are not and that is a blatantly misleading. Or is it that you just don't think a seriously ill rabbit is an emergency. Definately money orientated and definately would NOT recommend to anyone!

I used Chants Vets for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I could not be happier with the service they provide. After adopting my cat, she has been here for her kitten package (very good value) neutering procedure and for stitches after a nasty cut to the leg. Each time she received personalised and detailed after care notes, follow up calls and with very quick recovery times. I also purchase all the her Flee/worming treatments here as I trust the helpful advice they are always willing to share :) I could not recommend enough! x

Not sure who is reviewing this place but I am disgusted by the way my Mother was treated at this vets and I am not the only person who is disappointed at the lack of concern and empathy this vet has. Telling my mother "don't forget to pay on your way out" when she is having to put her dog to sleep is probably the least humane vets I have ever experienced. Disgusted. Nurses are lovely but female vet is absolutely rude, abrupt, inhumane and frankly I am dumbfounded why your are in this profession!
