My cat Elmo had a dental procedure done here recently, and the service was excellent. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with such professionalism and warmth. I received regular updates throughout the day on his progress and my many questions were answered by the highly knowledgeable nurses. I would not hesitate to bring him or any of my other pets here in the future. Excellent value for money

My mini schnauzer is very special as I watched her being born and she has been with me all her life. She is the grand age of 13 years now. Thanks to Southdown veterinary group , she hopefully will be with me a little longer.
A few months ago she started being very sick and not her usual self. After a blood test she was diagnosed with liver disease. I did not want to put her through any procedures that would stress her. At the initial consultation the vet discussed a range of intrusive and expensive diagnostics. I was not pressurised into any of the treatments. We discussed other options and decided to put her on a special very low fat diet and a daily liver support capsule. Jazzie has been on this regime now for 3 months and she is back to her normal self plus more bounce!!!! A big thank you to all concerned for your kindness and help.

I am so grateful to this practice for all the fantastic care and attention they have given to my cat, especially over the last 18months since she was diagnosed with 2 critical illnesses. I always knew they were good from our annual vet check ups and occasional visits following the odd cat fight! However, since her diagnoses last year the staff have been absolutely brilliant - both with our cat and with us. Every member of staff has been extremely friendly, professional, knowledgable, honest and so very caring. It's been a long journey already but 18 months on and our lovely little cat is back to her playful, mischievous self and in the best health for a while. Whilst that may not last forever, I know she is in the best possible care with the team at Southdown.
I cannot recommend them highly enough!

myself and my family have nothing but love for this practice.
They treat our pets as if we're watching, share our concerns and always
do what's best. They are by no means money driven; their priority is always
the best for our pets.
I used vets 2 home to say goodbye to my beloved Boo, my best friend for 18.5 years and i couldn't have wished for a better service. he went to sleep on my lap-peacefully and out of pain and i'll never forget what they did for us. Have been with this practice for 20 years and know i couldn't do better by my pets for their care.

I am so grateful to this practice for all the fantastic care and attention they have given to my cat, especially over the last 18months since she was diagnosed with 2 critical illnesses.
