It's a shame 1* is the lowest you can rate on here. Never again will we ever visit this shameful excuse for a Veterinary Practice. Sadly they are our Vets' out of hours Practice but luckily we have found a fantastic new Emergency Vet and will never have to visit The Priory again. There seems little point employing 24hr Vets who don't like being disturbed at 3am for an emergency. The response we got when we called was abrupt, rude and completely uninterested. We were then mis-advised on the phone of the correct procedure to follow whilst my 14 year old Labrador was experiencing a 6 minute seizure. After insisting we were bringing her down we were met with little interest and told TO WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM at 4am with a dog who was by this point unable to stand! When we finally went in the Vet we saw was rude, seemed half asleep and proceeded to drug my dog with a sedative which left her unable to stand or walk on her own for 3 days! We later found out this was completely the wrong treatment and an incorrect diagnosis of the situation. (we're all tired at 4am but if you aren't capable of doing your job at that time when it involves animals lives you shouldn't be there at all!) The vet we saw was so rough with my poorly girl that she was shaking in fear when we left! They provided no follow up, no advice and an extortionate bill! I'd have reported them to the FCA and Ombudsman if I could. Good job I guess my dog is 15 and a half and still going strong regardless. Stay Away and find a new vet is my only advice. Disgraceful.Read Less
