Hawkhurst cinque port I honestly can’t say enough nice things about the practice in hawkhurst. They have been with us every step of the way when our beautiful Marley bear passed away she treated us with compassion and love. Katie our vet at hawkhurst came to our home on the Monday after Marley passed to check in on Hendrix and too make sure he was okay. Every time we see her I could not be grateful that it was her that cared for her before she passed you have our upmost respe...ct. They love and care for our two large breeds Hendrix and are our new puppy zeppelin. I need to say a huge thank you to the team from the vets to reception team who also helped during Marley’s passing and only last week baby sat zeppelin whilst we had a meeting with the lovely Kerry our other vet at the practice who is also amazing and has taken tremendous care of Hendrix during a gastric flu. There aren’t really any words to say how brilliant Luca Gaffuri is, and how kind and caring all the team at the Rye branch are. I originally met Luca when he was at another practice just a short way from my home, there are many vetenary practices right on my doorstep, but I now choose to drive all the way to Rye, because one would be hard pushed to find a vet like Luca Gaffuri. His honest advice, (what’s best for your pet and not what’s best for the surgeries finances) his insight, knowledge and perfect prediction of outcomes of situations and operations my “boys” have had have been 100% accurate and correct. His kind, caring and remarkably patient way of dealing with me, a pathetically neurotic and emotional doggy mommy, honestly the man deserves a medal, even my husband said the same! I am sitting here with my old Spaniel that Luca operated on yesterday, just marvelling on how well he is, how perfect and beautiful the stitching, just a totally brilliant job. If you ever want true peace of mind that your fur babies are getting the best care ever, then I’d highly recommend Chinqueport vets Rye and Luca Gaffuri. Read Less

Absolutely outstanding. I took my poorly little hamster to be put to sleep and every member of staff was excellent. All staff were compassionate and sincere and incredibly understanding. The vet and trainee nurse were incredibly gentle with my little fur ball and were very soothing whilst explaining everything to me. I cannot recommend this vets highly enough. I called the OOH in the early hours of Wednesday morning when my cat Marmalade came home very distressed and breathing quickly. He was treated within half an hour and kept in for a couple of days. I was able to visit him to see his progress and give him some of his favourite treats. I was kept fully informed of his treatment and how he was doing. I collected him today and he is doing so well. The difference from the cat I brought in only 2 days ago is amazing. My little Havanese became very ill very quickly with severe vomiting at 5 a.m I telephoned the vet who said to bring her immediately to the surgery for attention. Richard saw her and was the kindest most caring vet I have ever met. He was so gentle with her. I was very happy with every aspect of her care. I thoroughly recommend this vet practice. Read Less

first of all...my dog had a injury after a rottweiler had a tussle with him; and it happened to be on a Saturday. Called about 1130am to find out the clinic is closed. Given that my dog needs medical attention urgently, the vet charge 90 for just consultation because it is an emergency and that it is outside working hours. WHAT RUBBISH! One would have thought people who are in this business has empathy towards animals, charging 70 more than regular consultation just shows this bunch cares only about cash. Its most rare I ever need to bring my pets to the vet as I am always careful. With vets like this, rest assured that I will be even more stringent. I really wonder...where the good people with morals n ethics gone!? Read Less
