Starnes and Blowey was established in 1953 and has been running ever since!
Currently working for us we have 9 veterinary surgeons, 6 qualified veterinary nurses, 1 trainee veterinary nurse, 4 receptionists and 3 admin staff. All staff are friendly and happy to help where ever they can!
We also offer our own out of hours service out of our own building with all our own vets and nurses.
We treat small animals, farm animals, exotic animals and our client base even includes Ashdown llama park and Drusilla's zoo!

Very good vet practice - very caring and Kirsty spent a lot of time and effort to find out what was wrong with our little dog. We had an extra year and a half with him in good health but unfortunately he had to be put to sleep in the end when his illness returned Thank you Kirsty for all your help.

When we first picked up Sparkle from Kit Wilson we were asked to have her microchipped. She already had a chip, was worried we could lose her. Uckfield vets checked her history and we were able to let her stay with us. Since then we have made several visits, so helpful and reassuring everytime. Would recommend to anyone with a pet. These guys truly love animals.

Took a stray cat in to see if it was micro chipped. I was feeling very stressed and emotional - as was the cat! Amy (student) was so calm and reassuring and her love of animals was so apparent. The cat even calmly went back into the basket for her, brilliant. They are going to hold on to the cat to see if anyone comes forward and if not take it to Kit Wilson. I feel much better and positive about the cats future now. Thanks!

The vet and assistant/nurse came out late and on short notice. My poor pup was struggling. They were gentle, calm and caring and knew exactly what was wrong. Unfortunately, he had to be put down but they gave us plenty of time with him and were so understanding when we all broke down. We were able to pay when collecting his ashes and the service they used for that was perfect. Thank you for helping us during our most tragic time. You genuinely seemed to care!!

Hi Just wanted to say BIG THANK YOU to George and Steve for doing an emergency operation on Bentley last Sunday. He had a complex lump in the eye socket which had erupted and wasn't pleasant at all. They both came in on Sunday as an emergency to do their best for Bentley, our very large black loveable labourdor, and have done an amazing job. Can't thank them enough. Hi Just wanted to say BIG THANK YOU to George and Steve for doing an emergency operation on Bentley last Sunday. He had a complex lump in the eye socket which had erupted and wasn't pleasant at all. They both came in on Sunday as an emergency to do their best for Bentley, our very large black loveable labourdor, and have done an amazing job. Can't thank them enough. So pleased to find vets who really care.

Brought my kittens in for neutering and could not of asked for better care and service the vet did a brilliant job and both recovered in no time at all with no problems or complications. Any questions I had were answered to a very high standard and the nurses spoilt them both with lots of fuss and cuddles. They don't mind a trip to the vets when they know they will be getting all this treatment.

Very good vet practice - very caring and Kirsty spent a lot of time and effort to find out what was wrong with our little dog. We had an extra year and a half with him in good health but unfortunately he had to be put to sleep in the end when his illness returned Thank you Kirsty for all your help.

When we first picked up Sparkle from Kit Wilson we were asked to have her microchipped. She already had a chip, was worried we could lose her. Uckfield vets checked her history and we were able to let her stay with us. Since then we have made several visits, so helpful and reassuring everytime. Would recommend to anyone with a pet. These guys truly love animals.

The cat even calmly went back into the basket for her, brilliant. They are going to hold on to the cat to see if anyone comes forward and if not take it to Kit Wilson. The vet and assistant/nurse came out late and on short notice. My poor pup was struggling. They were gentle, calm and caring and knew exactly what was wrong. Unfortunately, he had to be put down but they gave us plenty of time with him and were so understanding when we all broke down. Any questions I had were answered to a very high standard and the nurses spoilt them both with lots of fuss and cuddles.
