Had a very bad experience with Heene road vets in Worthing. Had a pregnancy scan for my dog. I think. the lady who was doing a scan, has no experience in scanning. Or doesn't have a clue how to do it ...
Had a very bad experience with Heene road vets in Worthing. Had a pregnancy scan for my dog. I think. the lady who was doing a scan, has no experience in scanning. Or doesn't have a clue how to do it properly. They took £90 for a scan and told me that my girl is pregnant or maybe not. She was already 4,5 weeks pregnant. They told me to come second time to do a scan and then maybe they can see something. I took my dog to another lady for a scan after a couple days and she was surprised how they haven't see puppy inside her. That lady she saw a big puppy with the heartbeat. So probably this vet likes to scam people. Tell them that they cannot see nothing and then asking to come second time and again charge £90. Really dissapointing that even vets trying to make money in such a horrible way. Maybe this vet is good in other services, but detect a pregnancy, no way. Really bad experience and i never coming back there again

I'm not going to use them again! So expensive, all the time! They don't care about loyalty,been with them many years,but never a discount,never helping paying in arrears, and never being able to use presciptions without appointment, which you have to pay of course even if it is for 2 min!
The treatment also they provide is not accurate, so many times brought my cat there for same problem,without being able to identify the correct issue,all the time 'estimating', 'guessing', no proper scientific proofs, or exams, just physical examination based on vets' 'book reading' and not actual PHD studies or Degree! And because they have experience on examination, and nobody actually complain, they believe they are correct and accurate.
Never going to use them again! The system of appointment and payments is not clear, giving you only a receipt form the card payment,with no details on each product or service they provide, charging you with outrageous prices as a whole(not even evidence on personal emails they keep on their database!Why you're asking me for an email if you're not able to provide me with legally information about my case when asked?)Shame on you!

I know veterinary practices have upped their charges in recent years, but this must affect pet owners decision to have their sick animals seen. #counterproductive

When we visited with our dog the vet we were to see was unavailable and the practice owner who was not seeing clients due to office commitments put himself out to check our dog over. When as a result of tests she needed an urgent operation this was carried out within two days. We have always experienced good quality care of all our pets. We would highly recommed this practice as the vets and nurses have always gone out of their way to ensure that our pets are well looked after when in their care. We have been with this practice for many years and never had to complain about the treatment our pets received.

Excellent vets who I've used for the last 16 years with my current 2 dogs and 2 cats and previous cat. They are very caring and if it's an emergency have always managed to fit me in. I've recently had a dog and a cat requiring major surgery and they have kept me fully informed, the quote they gave never increased and the aftercare was amazing. Both animals still doing well. All the staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to help out. Would always recommend Heene Road Vets.

Absolutely fantastic care of my dogs and cat , they go the extra mile to make sure everyone gets the best of care , attention to detail from these vets is amazing . I feel so safe if my animals are not well as I know they will get the excellent care they offer. The skills of the surgeons are amazing two of my dogs have been neutered here and you would be pushed to find the scars and the aftercare was amazing. I highly recommend this surgery

I have been in here several times and each time felt like the vet was treating me like I was a wallet on legs! Although the care is good. They recommended and supplied a product which didn't fit my dog and then refused to accept it back. Be cautious as they'll charge through the nose for everything they can.

I have been going to Heene Road vets for years. And a few weeks ago after making the hard decision to have my little 16 year old terrier Rosie put to sleep the service I received was amazing. From comfort on the day to a phone call from the vet Sarah the next day. Even a beautiful card arrived a few days later. I just want to thank all involved. Not many practices would do this and take your emotions and sadness into account. Thank you all so much for your care. I have other pets and would not consider going anywhere else. Having the Goring branch is such s great help.

Having been a very regular happy customer of Heene roads vets for over 20 years, I feel very confident that I am especially qualified to give a review of this fabulous practice!!! I have never found any of the staff anything but incredibly professional, friendly and very caring to me and my animals! Over these many years I have had numerous animals of various types!! 3 gorgeous dogs, dozens of rescue bunnies, Guinea pigs and chickens!!! I am currently the home to a very hairy mutt, 6 budgies, a very grumpy African Pygmy hedgehog and a very old giant French lop bunny, his sister who was recently treated at Heene road, she unfortunately had to be put to sleep after a huge effort from nurses and vets! She was treated with such compassion and care by everyone, as was I, for as usual I was very tearful!! My experience of all the vets I have come across over the years is that of " nothing is too much trouble!" The two hip replacements that my GSD needed 18 years ago ( which was very unusual then!) to the digestive problems that was ongoing for years with my other dog!!! I have always been greeted with a smile and kind word no matter how small or ridiculous the problem is that I bring to the table!! Trust me there has been a few!!! The receptionists can always manage to find you an emergency appointment, the nurse that hold the puppy classes, now that was such fun!! The kindness and caring you and your animals receive is exemplary and I would not venture anywhere else!!

My baby got rescued I've had him a month, the first appointment I got prescribed laxatives which made him worse, which was a waste of money, I came back a week and a half later to get him checked up the vet was shaking her head and sighing and judgmental because this problem should have been dealt with sooner. I don't understand why the first appointment they didn't make it more clear that this was serious. They then wanted to charge us over 400 to get the clogged up poo out of his system or told us to put him down. They also then said we couldn't take him home otherwise they would call the rspca on us and we wanted a second opinion. They don't offer any payment plan. Standing there crying my eyes out and the staff just staring and avoiding me. Other people in the waiting room even heard what the vet was saying and was shocked with the judgment and had to even ask the staff to get me some tissue while they sat there pretending I was not there. To the kind owners of other animals in the waiting room that day I thank you for your support to a stranger. I was crying my heart out because of the fact I've only just rescued my baby and the judgment I received was disgusting. The vet even mention that her animals have insurance.. Well I apologies, it's only been a month and I haven got round to it!! The staff need serious training on how to be compassionate to the owners As Well as the animal. Yes they care for the animals but judgment and the shaking of the head and the staff behaviour is absolutely disgusting. I am seriously disappointed and now seeking a second choice from a very understanding vets who have been so considerate and compassionate. All I want is the best for my cat, but I also want to be treated with respect when I do the best I possibly can. No ones perfect, and treating people with such judgment is not what I want to even consider paying for. Worst day of my life.

Monty has always received the best care and I value and trust all the advice we receive when he has been to see the vet. He doesn't like going there and needs a lot of coaxing to get him in the door but all the staff are so kind to him and I like the way Jeremy French calls him Poppet!! I would recommend Heene Road Vets as the best place to take your pets .

I've recently had a dog and a cat requiring major surgery and they have kept me fully informed, the quote they gave never increased and the aftercare was amazing. Both animals still doing well. All the staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to help out. Would always recommend Heene Road Vets.

Absolutely fantastic care of my dogs and cat , they go the extra mile to make sure everyone gets the best of care , attention to detail from these vets is amazing . I feel so safe if my animals are not well as I know they will get the excellent care they offer. The skills of the surgeons are amazing two of my dogs have been neutered here and you would be pushed to find the scars and the aftercare was amazing. I highly recommend this surgery

I have been in here several times and each time felt like the vet was treating me like I was a wallet on legs! Although the care is good. They recommended and supplied a product which didn't fit my dog and then refused to accept it back. Be cautious as they'll charge through the nose for everything they can.

I have been going to Heene Road vets for years. And a few weeks ago after making the hard decision to have my little 16 year old terrier Rosie put to sleep the service I received was amazing. From comfort on the day to a phone call from the vet Sarah the next day. Even a beautiful card arrived a few days later. I just want to thank all involved. Not many practices would do this and take your emotions and sadness into account. Thank you all so much for your care. I have other pets and would not consider going anywhere else. Having the Goring branch is such s great help.

Having been a very regular happy customer of Heene roads vets for over 20 years, I feel very confident that I am especially qualified to give a review of this fabulous practice!!! I have never found any of the staff anything but incredibly professional, friendly and very caring to me and my animals! Over these many years I have had numerous animals of various types!! 3 gorgeous dogs, dozens of rescue bunnies, Guinea pigs and chickens!!! I am currently the home to a very hairy mutt, 6 budgies, a very grumpy African Pygmy hedgehog and a very old giant French lop bunny, his sister who was recently treated at Heene road, she unfortunately had to be put to sleep after a huge effort from nurses and vets! She was treated with such compassion and care by everyone, as was I, for as usual I was very tearful!! My experience of all the vets I have come across over the years is that of " nothing is too much trouble!" The two hip replacements that my GSD needed 18 years ago ( which was very unusual then!) to the digestive problems that was ongoing for years with my other dog!!! I have always been greeted with a smile and kind word no matter how small or ridiculous the problem is that I bring to the table!! Trust me there has been a few!!! The receptionists can always manage to find you an emergency appointment, the nurse that hold the puppy classes, now that was such fun!! The kindness and caring you and your animals receive is exemplary and I would not venture anywhere else!!

My baby got rescued I've had him a month, the first appointment I got prescribed laxatives which made him worse, which was a waste of money, I came back a week and a half later to get him checked up the vet was shaking her head and sighing and judgmental because this problem should have been dealt with sooner. I don't understand why the first appointment they didn't make it more clear that this was serious. They then wanted to charge us over 400 to get the clogged up poo out of his system or told us to put him down. They also then said we couldn't take him home otherwise they would call the rspca on us and we wanted a second opinion. They don't offer any payment plan. Standing there crying my eyes out and the staff just staring and avoiding me. Other people in the waiting room even heard what the vet was saying and was shocked with the judgment and had to even ask the staff to get me some tissue while they sat there pretending I was not there. To the kind owners of other animals in the waiting room that day I thank you for your support to a stranger. I was crying my heart out because of the fact I've only just rescued my baby and the judgment I received was disgusting. The vet even mention that her animals have insurance.. Well I apologies, it's only been a month and I haven got round to it!! The staff need serious training on how to be compassionate to the owners As Well as the animal. Yes they care for the animals but judgment and the shaking of the head and the staff behaviour is absolutely disgusting. I am seriously disappointed and now seeking a second choice from a very understanding vets who have been so considerate and compassionate. All I want is the best for my cat, but I also want to be treated with respect when I do the best I possibly can. No ones perfect, and treating people with such judgment is not what I want to even consider paying for. Worst day of my life.

Moved away a few months ago and had to change vets- so unhappy with new vets treatment of my poorly dog that I took him back to Heene Road today and am so grateful for all the care he received. Definitely worth the hours drive wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

Monty has always received the best care and I value and trust all the advice we receive when he has been to see the vet. He doesn't like going there and needs a lot of coaxing to get him in the door but all the staff are so kind to him and I like the way Jeremy French calls him Poppet!! I would recommend Heene Road Vets as the best place to take your pets .
