Brill vets, I highly recommend them! My mum has used Norwood Vets for years for her dog & her cats and I also take my cats. They are so friendly & caring & very helpful! My mum & dads dog Mollie who we've had for 15 years had to be put to sleep on Monday night as she was very old & very poorly and was in a lot of pain, it was the most hardest decision we've had to make as a family seeing our beloved girl put to sleep but Norwood vets were very caring. Pablo & one of the veterinary nurses (not sure of her name) came out & did it at my mum & dads house so that Mollie was laid in her basket in the front room in front of the fire where she loved to lay with her family around her. They explained exactly what was going to happen & also left us with her for a bit after so that my older brother could come & see her before they picked her up. Also the nurse who came out with Pablo & another nurse came back to pick her up & were very good when they was getting her. I can't thank them enough from the bottom of our hearts for everything Norwood vets have done for Mollie over the years. Thank you to all at Norwood vets, they are the most amazingly dedicated people. Our two puppies ate a large amount of slug pellets and would definitely not have survived if it wasn't for them. They all worked tirelessly day and night for 72 hours + to save them. They are the most caring compassionate group of people I have ever met. They kept us fully informed contacting us reassuring us and making us feel welcome when visiting our puppies. We are now all back at home and we can't thank them enough. I have used this practice since 1963 ,after having my first child Philip and when he was 6 weeks old taking on a 7 week old pup Peggy and have always found them to be very professional .Over the years my pet rescue just grew and grew and so I have experienced a lot of final goodbyes to my pets (pts) after giving all I could to keep them going. Every vet at Norwood has always been extremely compassionate and understanding during these final goodbyes. I have 6 granddaughters and 2 grandsons ,all animal oriented ( you bet!!) and my daughters firstborn Bethany 15 has just spent a very enjoyable second week at Norwood as she wants to be a vet. surgeon. She said that every member of staff has been very very kind to her and has explained a lot during the consultations and the ops. that she has been allowed to attend. she cannot wait to go and help out and learn more she has told me. Amazing people!! Can't recommend highly enough. The vets are fantastic. The nurses' care and attention is second to none and the reception staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
