I visited the practice to have my dogs medication reviewed, the vet took him inside to examine him but brought him out a short while later saying he would not let her examine him. I am not very happy about this and being charged a consultation fee. I have taken several of my guinea pigs to the practice and they have performed four operations exceptionally well with all my guinea pigs making full recoveries. One had a very large lump removed and recovered within a week, one had a vasectomy and was literally running around the same evening without a care in the world, two had polycystic ovaries and needed to be spayed, both made full recoveries. One of my guinea pigs was very old and sick, and they were extremely caring and went out of their way to see him at very short notice, and did everything they could to help. Price wise they are no different to other vets and worth paying for the excellent care. It does smart a bit when you have to pay around £31 for a 10 minute check up, but no different to any other vets. It costs around £130 for a female to be spayed which I think is reasonable, and for them to survive the anaesthetic and recover within a few days is truly worth every penny. The surgeons are fantastic and I trust them to take good care of my guinea pigs. They would not perform unnecessary surgery, and have even quickly phoned me to discuss treatment options during an operation. I have used other vets before, but for genuine caring efficient treatment I would always use millennium vets. I trust them to take good care of my pets, which is the whole reason for taking a pet to the vets. Read Less
