Chelmsford Companion Care

Chelmsford, Essex
General Info
At Companion Care we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Companion Care practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself at your local Companion Care, why not take a practice tour?

Your vetinary nurse, Simone Dent was lovely, treated my little Bambi today as if she was her own, Simone was so friendly, caring and gentle with my little Bambi gave her a kiss and cuddle before she examined her she was so genuine and could really tell she cares about animals and that everything she does for them is only for there best interest. My poor bambi had a reaction to her first vaccinations Simone sorted her out with a anti flammatory injection and now she is back to her playful happy self again! Also vets4pets reception staff all been really helpful and have always managed to fit me in with very quick appointments all been with in 3 hours of calling up. They are great here! Give good advice for kittens. Thank you for looking after my babies 🐾🐾❤️ Read Less

Excellent Vets. Helpful, efficient staff and great service! We've been to Vets4Pets many times through William's life and have always found them to be helpful, caring about our dog and well-informed. Easy parking and not too hard to get an appointment at a time that suits. They are also very helpful when filling in the forms for claiming from Pet Plan. Read Less

I want to say a MASSIVE HUGE THANKS for the staff of the Vets4pets Chelmsford. We could’t find a better place for our Lola who is swallow a pebble stone and she needed surgery. The staff was very polite and very very professional!!! They always explain every procedure step by step, we received updates on the spot and they were very polite and understanding (sometimes I called them for update every 30mins so I think I was a bit annoying) its just impossible to explain how grateful we are with them. They looked after Lola very well, she was in the best possible hands with Vets4pets!!! Once again, thank you!!! Read Less

We had used Vets4Pets at Pets at Home since for nearly a decade and have no complaints about actual care of our dogs. However we have changed to another vet as when the time came round for me to book his annual vaccinations I was stubbornly told that there were no places for this for 2 whole weeks. Theis seemed ridiculous and I managed to book at another vets within a day. They said it was to save spaces for sick pets, but my dog wouldn't have been covered. I hadn't even left it until the last minute. Very disappointing. We since received a letter reminding us of his vaccines. Too late, as loyal customers we felt overlooked and so no thanks, we found a more accomodating vet. Read Less

I have used this branch once before and had a very good experience. Sadly this was not the case today. Did not find the reception staff remotely helpful. It does not take a minute to let someone know there's a hold up rather than leave you sitting there. I fully understand emergencies take precedence but why then not say something? Will not bother going back as my local vet may be more expensive but at least they do not treat people like they are an inconvenience. Read Less
