Elm House is a veterinary practice that has a history going back over 60 years. I have worked in the practice for 35 years starting as a raw assistant and now as owner. I have always believed that the care of my patients is a team effort with their owners and so it is essential to spend time to explain their pet’s illnesses and treatment. I have gathered together an excellent team of experienced vets and nurses who believe in this principle. In the last 5 years we have had over 5000 clients who have used our services and we have worked with to help them keep their pets healthy.

I want to say thank you to the Elm House vet team one more time. I had my kitten castrated today, and the service was fantastic. they treat little patients with love and respect. I was given a post-operation letter, three pouches of food( good for the belly, especially after sedation) and medicine. I trust only the Elm Vet team to take care of my pets. highly recommended

Feels expensive theater time £35 per miniute and cant do everything as my dog needed to be refered elsewhere and it still cost a few hundred pounds for them to tell me to go elsewhere.

Vets are brilliant. I did a lot of research when I moved to Chelmsford to ensure I picked the right place for my cats. I can't really fault them, they're always helpful, keep you well informed about your pet and are always happy to assist you with queries on the phone. The staff are lovely and always friendly and approachable. I would recommend them to anyone local.

I have been using Elm House Vets for over 30 years, since they were Smith, Eagar & Eagar in Moulsham Street, with a total of six dogs, plus the odd cat. Their treatment has always been first class, whether it's a routine jab or a complicated surgical procedure. Pet owners also receive the same personal care, right from the joy of a new arrival to the tears at the end. Highly recommended - a thoroughly professional and competent practice.

My family have been using Elm House Veterinary Centre for over 25 years .They have looked after our 2 Dogs, and cats. One is now 20 years old. Their expert care has kept her going, and living a happy life. My son who has left home, now takes his cats to Elm House.
Always found the staff extremely caring, and competent. There is a nice friendly atmosphere. Staff take time to explain things.
