I want to say a MASSIVE HUGE THANKS for the staff of the Vets4pets Chelmsford. We could’t find a better place for our Lola who is swallow a pebble stone and she needed surgery. The staff was very polite and very very professional!!! They always explain every procedure step by step, we received updates on the spot and they were very polite and understanding (sometimes I called them for update every 30mins so I think I was a bit annoying) its just impossible to explain how grateful we are with them. We had used Vets4Pets at Pets at Home since for nearly a decade and have no complaints about actual care of our dogs. However we have changed to another vet as when the time came round for me to book his annual vaccinations I was stubbornly told that there were no places for this for 2 whole weeks. Theis seemed ridiculous and I managed to book at another vets within a day. They said it was to save spaces for sick pets, but my dog wouldn't have been covered. I hadn't even left it until the last minute. Very disappointing. We since received a letter reminding us of his vaccines. Too late, as loyal customers we felt overlooked and so no thanks, we found a more accomodating vet. Read Less

I have used this branch once before and had a very good experience. Sadly this was not the case today. Did not find the reception staff remotely helpful. It does not take a minute to let someone know there's a hold up rather than leave you sitting there. I fully understand emergencies take precedence but why then not say something? Will not bother going back as my local vet may be more expensive but at least they do not treat people like they are an inconvenience. Read Less
