Firstly was told there was nothing wrong with my dog apart from being fat, and apparently I should let him outside more to get some sunlight, this was the review I received after having x rays because...
Firstly was told there was nothing wrong with my dog apart from being fat, and apparently I should let him outside more to get some sunlight, this was the review I received after having x rays because he was severely lame....I got a second opinion who immediately referred him to Fitzpatricks where he had multiple extensive operations on his elbows for elbow Dysplasia. After giving Edgewood a second chance I took my elderly dog in and was told she had days, most probably hours left to live and she had organ failure and I would be cruel not to put her down by the next at the latest, after a second opinion she ended up living for another year very comfortably. Unfortunately she had a stroke over lockdown and understandably when we took her to Edgewood they had their safety procedures in place to protect themselves but we were not allowed to leave her inside, we were told to wait outside and someone would meet us, we waited for over ten minutes with our dog on the floor, then after she had been taken in, the vet came to break the news to us, in front of a car park of other clients, there was no privacy at all. We were then told we could go to the back of the building to say goodbye, surely we could have gone round there in the first place for some privacy as we had explained the situation on the phone beforehand so they knew the extent of her illness. I think after three major incidents where I have been less than happy I have given them a fair chance.

My wife and I have been going to the Edgewood Vets for many years, I would like to highly recommend them as I would not like to have to go anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the Vets are the best. I wish them all the best for the future and years to come.

This veterinary group are excellent. Very professional and friendly. The staff are helpful and approachable, and have a very good contact system. The vets know what they are doing and will always try and keep the price down for the clients. Beautifully designed practices. Will keep coming back.

Fortunately I've never needed treatment for my cats, I use them for boosters etc.
Unfortunately they are usually 15 mins behind and you seldom get an apology.
I find the Wantz Road surgery far too...

Unfortunately they are usually 15 mins behind and you seldom get an apology.
I find the Wantz Road surgery far too echoey and I don't think my cat likes this.

We have been using Edgewood, Purleigh branch for over 7 years now for all our pets and have always been pleased with the care and attention we get for them. We had to have our gorgeous 15 year old dog...
We have been using Edgewood, Purleigh branch for over 7 years now for all our pets and have always been pleased with the care and attention we get for them. We had to have our gorgeous 15 year old dog put to sleep but Jurgen came to our house and it was done with dignity and he was very sympathetic with the hard decision we had to make. We very rarely get told we cannot get an appointment when we have needed it, even on the same day of phoning.The nurses and receptionists are lovely and always happy but everything is still done professionally. Thank you to you all, the Allens

My wife and I have been going to the Edgewood Vets for many years, I would like to highly recommend them as I would not like to have to go anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the Vets are the best. I wish them all the best for the future and years to come.

We have been using Edgewood, Purleigh branch for over 7 years now for all our pets and have always been pleased with the care and attention we get for them. We had to have our gorgeous 15 year old dog put to sleep but Jurgen came to our house and it was done with dignity and he was very sympathetic with the hard decision we had to make.
