This was my first visit to this vet as never used them before. The service the vet and nurse provided was exemplary given that it was for a sad task, but was made easier by the compassion and care provided to both me and my pet. I will certainly be using them again for my other pets in the future. If there is any criticism it is the abysmal parking in the area if you are unable to park on the surgery forecourt.

My dog Kia was taken in as an emergency last Sunday and sadly passed away there today. I can’t praise the staff enough they tried everything ..they were so kind and caring keeping me updated the whole time they never minded when I called even if it was after hours and receptionist were all really lovely and kind. The vets were very good with Kia and always seemed to really care. Thank you to everyone there that looked after my Kia.

My daughter and myself took a pet duck into vets because she prolapsed. She was stitched up and giving medication and told to bring her back in a couple of days. We took her home and she got worse, not eating or pooing. We took her back to the vets to see what was wrong. The second vet said she had been sewn up to tight, she was full of poo and had dead flesh put back inside her which then caused her to go into septic shock. I will pay the bill to have her put to sleep but I will not be paying the 205.00 bill to have her murdered.

We were prescribed new medication (after failing to be told my dogs existing medication was no longer available) which turned out to be 12x stronger in steroids than my dog needed! My complaint lead me to find out that the notes on my account do not indicate a true representation as to what had actually been discussed in our consultations. Complete lack of care, sympathy and professionalism in every angle. We are now moving vets!

Gave my two year old dog lepto 4 vaccination whilst he was still compromised from ear problems , never told us it is very harsh on The immune system or have a choice . We're then none the wiser . Dog collapses 48 hours later . High fever , swollen joints . We did our research and we're confident this was an auto immune reaction , vet was sketchy , didn't seem very clued up atall , changes vet and for answers . Insurance company pulled out as vaccine related . Left with massive bill . One year on dog is on meds for life , what ever life he has left . Vaccine company paid out small amount , so admits liability that's says , earls hall for debt collector on to us for what was owed to them that insurance company would pay , left with a three year old dog that's like a dog of 15 .

Gordie my Prairie dog was neutered by James last week, as Gordie is an exotic species very few vets in the uk would have done the procedure before so this was of great concern to me, however all the staff at Earls hall have been fantastic, James done his research prior to the procedure and took guidence from a specialist in America. Communication was good too, James phoned to update me that all had gone well, which was a great comfort. Gordie's incisions are tiny and so tidy, you can barely see them. Reception staff are lovely, nothing is to much for them, always smiling and very efficient too. After care has been great aswell. A big thankyou to you all.

Amazing vets, we were recommended to come here and have been seeing James every time ever since. He is such a kind gentle vet and is the only vet who we have ever seen that gets down on the floor with the dog to put her at ease rather than put them straight on the table. He picked up on our dogs problems right away when our previous vets kept telling me that there wasn't a problem and he advised the "old fashioned" spay rather than the (more expensive) keyhole as for our dog it would benefit her in the long run to have everything removed due to her hormonal problems. I was super impressed that he advised that as not many vets these days talk you out of spending money, even when it is in the pets interest and this sealed our confidence in him and Earls hall and we now have all our pets registered with them. Would recommend without hesitation. (also it was an ex Earls hall vet nurse who recommended them when I was at my wits end with my poorly dog and I think that is a good indication when an ex employee states they are the most caring vets she ever worked for during her career)

I would just like to say I am so so grateful to earls hall vets, and especially the out of hours staff Sunday night. My beautiful Bella was rushed there Sunday night by myself and was sadly put to sleep. I was a complete wreck but the vet on call and the nurse were absolutely amazing. They did everything they could for my princess but unfortunately they couldn't do anymore. They were very professional but also so sensitive to my emotions as well. Bella was my best friend, I love her like my child and I miss her so much it hurts! But knowing that they did everything in their capabilities to help her gave me some comfort. Today I have spoken to them for the 1st time and the receptionist was very kind and then iv just come home to find a card from them in the post with my girls footprints and some forget me not seeds! I'm so overwhelmed, such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected! I sobbed like a baby again.....to be fair I haven't stopped much anyway!! Thank you so so much for everything you did, I will never forget it xx

Been nursing MR through the night as he cant breath properly.... He went to earls hall veterinary for a routine annual vaccination 2 weeks ago ,they gave him the kennel cough vaccine up his nose, since that he has been chocking and struggling to breath! I took him back and a different vet said he should not of had it due to him always being with me and never going into kennels and the other vet should of asked this in his consultation! He is now on steroids in his food to get rid of the inflammation but it was worse last night! This is seriously worrying as he was always in perfect health until he went there! Now bless him he is trying to sleep as he has been up most of the night These vets are not trustworthy and I will be going elsewhere

I was totally ripped off. Phoned emergency out of hrs and asked how much it would be. Was told 130 for consultation if I got there before 10. Broke my neck to get there before 10 and arrived at 9.50....

When I came to pay it was 250 for some pain killers and antibiotics. When I queried it I was told that I had been charged more because the consultation took place after ten, anyway she said its not much more so I asked and she said only 50!! That's a day's wages to me! I was livid and argued that I had arrived before ten but was basically told computer says no!! She didn't explain that I would be charged the higher amount when I arrived. Will not be returning!!

Outstanding care has been provided consistently to both my dogs over the years during both routine and emergency out of hours appointments. When My boy Huey was in his final hours, and was rushed to an out of hours appointment, the practices assistance to him was exemplary. I was deeply touched by the extent to which they care. I will always be immensely greatful to Earls hall vets for everything they did for him.

The local industrial estate will not let me inspect their premises...so I have contacted the council. I highly recommend your practice...best wishes to you all.

Since Louise left I personally wouldn't trust them with rabbits, mine would have been put to sleep had I not sought a 2nd opinion from completely different vet and my rabbit is totally better

Gordie my Prairie dog was neutered by James last week, as Gordie is an exotic species very few vets in the uk would have done the procedure before so this was of great concern to me, however all the staff at Earls hall have been fantastic, James done his research prior to the procedure and took guidence from a specialist in America. Communication was good too, James phoned to update me that all had gone well, which was a great comfort. Gordie's incisions are tiny and so tidy, you can barely see them. Reception staff are lovely, nothing is to much for them, always smiling and very efficient too. After care has been great aswell. A big thankyou to you all.

Amazing vets, we were recommended to come here and have been seeing James every time ever since. He is such a kind gentle vet and is the only vet who we have ever seen that gets down on the floor with the dog to put her at ease rather than put them straight on the table. He picked up on our dogs problems right away when our previous vets kept telling me that there wasn't a problem and he advised the "old fashioned" spay rather than the (more expensive) keyhole as for our dog it would benefit her in the long run to have everything removed due to her hormonal problems. I was super impressed that he advised that as not many vets these days talk you out of spending money, even when it is in the pets interest and this sealed our confidence in him and Earls hall and we now have all our pets registered with them. Would recommend without hesitation. (also it was an ex Earls hall vet nurse who recommended them when I was at my wits end with my poorly dog and I think that is a good indication when an ex employee states they are the most caring vets she ever worked for during her career)

I would just like to say I am so so grateful to earls hall vets, and especially the out of hours staff Sunday night. My beautiful Bella was rushed there Sunday night by myself and was sadly put to sleep. I was a complete wreck but the vet on call and the nurse were absolutely amazing. They did everything they could for my princess but unfortunately they couldn't do anymore. They were very professional but also so sensitive to my emotions as well. Bella was my best friend, I love her like my child and I miss her so much it hurts! But knowing that they did everything in their capabilities to help her gave me some comfort. Today I have spoken to them for the 1st time and the receptionist was very kind and then iv just come home to find a card from them in the post with my girls footprints and some forget me not seeds! I'm so overwhelmed, such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected! I sobbed like a baby again.....to be fair I haven't stopped much anyway!! Thank you so so much for everything you did, I will never forget it xx

Been nursing MR through the night as he cant breath properly.... He went to earls hall veterinary for a routine annual vaccination 2 weeks ago ,they gave him the kennel cough vaccine up his nose, since that he has been chocking and struggling to breath! I took him back and a different vet said he should not of had it due to him always being with me and never going into kennels and the other vet should of asked this in his consultation! He is now on steroids in his food to get rid of the inflammation but it was worse last night! This is seriously worrying as he was always in perfect health until he went there! Now bless him he is trying to sleep as he has been up most of the night These vets are not trustworthy and I will be going elsewhere

I was totally ripped off. Phoned emergency out of hrs and asked how much it would be. Was told 130 for consultation if I got there before 10. Broke my neck to get there before 10 and arrived at 9.50....
I was totally ripped off. Phoned emergency out of hrs and asked how much it would be. Was told 130 for consultation if I got there before 10. Broke my neck to get there before 10 and arrived at 9.50. When I came to pay it was 250 for some pain killers and antibiotics. When I queried it I was told that I had been charged more because the consultation took place after ten, anyway she said its not much more so I asked and she said only 50!! That's a day's wages to me! I was livid and argued that I had arrived before ten but was basically told computer says no!! She didn't explain that I would be charged the higher amount when I arrived. Will not be returning!!

Outstanding care has been provided consistently to both my dogs over the years during both routine and emergency out of hours appointments. When My boy Huey was in his final hours, and was rushed to an out of hours appointment, the practices assistance to him was exemplary. I was deeply touched by the extent to which they care. I will always be immensely greatful to Earls hall vets for everything they did for him.

Thank you to all your staff but particulary Justine Thorne and Louise Warren who helped to clean up Casper Jack after he decided to go for a walk through some dumped printer ink....Casper is very well but very fed up that he cannot go outside. The local industrial estate will not let me inspect their premises...so I have contacted the council. I highly recommend your practice...best wishes to you all.
