Well, after nearly 13 years since moving here of using this practice (for which 12 had been satisfactory) , DISAPPOINTED is an understatement , I will not name drop, but after taking my pug for checkup regarding a wart which had suddenly mutated in November 2016, bearing in mind she has been seen since she was a puppy for her annual boosters (health check ????), spade etc was seen in April 16 for her annual booster, and again in August 16 for a cut to her front toe, not once was the wart to her hind leg pick up or mentioned as a concern, because of our concern of its mutation (mine and husbands) we wished for it to be removed. (Now up until July 2016 I had had her insured lifetime cover, then changed her to another company so I had her and my other dogs all under the same insurer) , anyway so lump removal goes ahead, turns out that it is a grade 2 cancerous cell, and that next stage would be a vet to get in contact with me to discuss next stage of treatment ( January 2017) still not heard from anyone, to top it off just had letter through post today, from insurance company, informing me that because I had told the vet at the initial consultation that she had had the lump for a few years, they will not cover a pre existing condition, nor any other treatment relating to this. I ask you this firstly why would I say that, yes she had a wart, but this was NEVER picked up on previous health checks or on her notes , secondly if this was the case I would of had it done sooner under her first insurers. So as this post stated disappointed and upset.Read Less
