We have had two black labs and over the years we have used many different vets. With the benefit of that experience we can confidently say that Struthers and Scott are exceptional.
With many other vets we were left with feeling that no matter what the consultation was about we would always be prescribed an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory, which often felt as though it had to more to do with the financial health of the vet rather than the health of our dogs. This has not been our experience with Struthers and Scott. We have only been advised treatment that is of benefit to the dogs and have only been prescribed medication that has made a real difference to any condition that they have had.
Our youngest dog needed an operation on her eyelid and had we known how good a job Tom was going to do we would have put her in for this operation much sooner.
The quality of ALL their staff consistently high. I suspect that this is the benefit of a rural vet practice with close links to a safari park! Perhaps not directly relevant to looking after a black lab but it does result in an exceptional team
