Feel very disappointed. Brought my dog for a check up and nail clip. Had to wait ages to be seen even i had an appoitment booked. So finally then we were seen by a vet she was like- oh she has black nails- very bad. She cliped two nails, one of them was bleeding. Yes she has black nails thats why im taking her to vet for prefesionals to do it. Never mind , so my dog had an other problem with her bottom. She said oh thats nothing. But she still stragalling with it- she is in pain. Finally she said she has to go as there is an emergancy in the other room. Paid 30 pounds for two cliped nails and the other problem was left unsolved. So day after visit she broke one of her nails just becouse it was too long. Very disappointed. Read Less

We love AlbaVet. We feel that they really care about our little elderly dog. Excellent vets, advice, great reception staff, can't say enough good things about them. We left for a bit as there was a practice closer to us, and we couldn't return faster. We'll not leave again, we think they're great. Read Less

i have been attending Alba with my cat Coco for several years now, and am deeply grateful to all the staff there for their kindness and support. Last year (2014) Coco had to have a serious operation on his ear, which although successful, required a lot of follow up care and nursing. My own health was very poor at the time and Albavet were extremely helpful and kind, boarding Coco and taking care of him when it all got too much for me. He became quite a celebrity at the surgery and I was confident that everyone there was doing their best to pull him through his recovery. I have been using The Dunfermline branch now for over 5 yrs. Having dealt with various vets.I have two retired working Labrdours. One which has had to be seen regularly over the last few years because of her age. The practice and the staff are wonderful, polite.courteous and a friendly atmosphere.The vets have changed slightly..this is normal and I've been very fortunate in now dealing with a Canandian Vet called 'Angie'.She is the best! So attentitive to 'Mints' condition,She never rushes appointments.Makes me feel 'special' with her caring attitude towards my amazing dog. She goes the xtra mile in all areas. I feel 100% confident and comfortable dealing with this Care Centre. Recently the changes made have 'Upped' the whole image and services they now provide. They even have a cool Ambulance!! and that is cool!..They also offer alternative therapy through 'Jane Hunter ' whom has dealt with 'Mint' on one occassion..again she is of the highest calibre. The highest Quality Care all round from this practice Is my personal experience with them..having trained and worked with dogs for over 15yrs Now I've dealt with many vets. Read Less

We have attended this practice for nearly 40 years with our various pets. As usual, our latest visit was a good experience. Our dog 'likes' the vets. This visit was for annual innocculations and for worming. At the time she also received a jag against Kennel Cough, as a previous dog of ours had it, and we know how nasty it can be. I like getting a reminder by email, it means I am less likely to forget. If I have one gripe, it is that I do get emails for appointments that I have already made, and have had a few about Kennel Cough. If you looked at her records you'd see she already had it. The prices seem fair, the staff are friendly, the choice of surgery location good. Read Less
