Was unhappy with the procedures and care both to the dog and myself, do not feel that all the issues were dealt with. Appreciate problems arise and appointments over run all comunication is in the car...
Was unhappy with the procedures and care both to the dog and myself, do not feel that all the issues were dealt with. Appreciate problems arise and appointments over run all comunication is in the car park. I waited outside for 30mins on collection of the dog as i had no transport and it was raining i was a bit annoyed i phoned in and was told to wait in the car as they were over running. Feel a bit let down angry and frustrated.

Called up around 1:30pm on a Sunday looking for an emergency appointment for my gerbil. After being quoted £90 just for a consultation elsewhere - Albavet quoted me £19.50 and could see me right away....
Called up around 1:30pm on a Sunday looking for an emergency appointment for my gerbil. After being quoted £90 just for a consultation elsewhere - Albavet quoted me £19.50 and could see me right away. We appeared and got taken right in. The vet was lovely, but there were a couple of miscommunications due to the language barrier. We however were very confident in the treatment provided, and our gerbil is home happy, much healthier - and hopefully on the road to recovery. The receptionist was a fantastic lady. Very clearly loves animals, and wanted to say hi. Even though she may have lost a finger.

Now owned by an American company, charges similar to a private medicine for humans. If you want rid of your money use this vet. Wasn't overly impressed with the care either.

if i could give less stars i would. this vet practice is a classic example of well to do clients able to afford their ridiculous prices....and us mere mortals feel like we have been mugged, both parti...
if i could give less stars i would. this vet practice is a classic example of well to do clients able to afford their ridiculous prices....and us mere mortals feel like we have been mugged, both parties want the same end results....sometimes the telephone advice is shocking and attitudes for general care towards smaller pets( not cats and not dogs) are abominable.
advice?-do your wallet and animal a favour and go somewhere else

Our usual vet couldn't take us for a same day appointment so I phoned Albavet who gave us an appointment within the hour. They were great with our old cat - very thorough and within a few days she was back to normal. A very friendly and professional service.

The staff are wonderful and it is not often u have to wait 4 an appointment. During the last few weeks of our beautiful cat the staff were exceptional, both to the family and to Sweepy. Many thanks.
