Vets4Pets Kirkcaldy is the best veterinary practice i have been to. The knowledge displayed by the team along with the time taken to carefully and patiently explain everything is fantastic. This is a quality I have found to be lacking with veterinarian practices I have previously visited, however it is comforting to see the team really care which allows their passion for the role to shine through. The time taken by reception staff, care assistants, nurses and vets to respond to every request I have had is second to none, this has often involved the team going above and beyond to accommodate. I wound highly recommend this practice based on my multiple visits over the last 4 years. Read Less

I must say my personal experience with Vets4Pets Kirkcaldy esp Lucanne the senior vet and partner has been nothing but fantastic. Back in Oct my 8 yr old rescue boy became acutely ill which I didn't know until I got home from work at 5pm I called and they squeezed me in that evening and for several evenings after that as he remained unwell. Just earlier this week my 17 year old boy needed to be put to sleep and the vet and staff were great with me and my cat. They gave me all the time I needed to be with him and make the decision, that I knew was the right and only decision for him. They also allowed me to be with him while he was put to sleep and allowed me as much time as I needed after. It was a horrible, stressful, emotional night made a wee bit easier by kind, compassionate and understand staff from the Vet herself to the Vet nurse to the reception staff. Thanks for all you do for the animals and people attached to those animals. Keep up the good work Read Less

Terrible experience with this Veterinary clinic. The list is long. The most frustrating part of the experience has to have been the complete lack of empathy towards clients and their pets. This company appears to be motivated by 1 thing, PROFIT. Having to wait 6 hours before we can proceed with euthenesia on our very timid cat , who had been in the cattery since 9am for investigation into a tumor , we were then informed via telephone at mid-day what the verdict of the examination was and we made the decision to put our beloved pet to sleep rather than have her endure operations and daily medication at 10 years old. We made this difficult decision and expected the clinic to accommodate our needs but we're told we wouldn't be able to proceed untill quarter to 6 at night. Meaning, our pet would spend her last few hours alive, in a strange place surrounded by strange people. Not good enough!! We understood we were able to bring our pet home but for her to endure yet more stressful commutes was absaloutly out of the question. Unhappy with the customer service and unhappy at the lack of communication with regrds to appointment times and actual examinations. Our pet could have been at home untill the examination, then once examination had been complete we could have made the decision there and then and it could have been short and sweet, but this was not the case. Very dissapointed.Read Less
