Up until recently they’ve been great and probably are still great but, I don’t agree with their unclear pricing for consultations. Up until now a consultation included a follow up after treatment i.e antibiotics, recently I’ve been charged another consultation fee to be told ‘the antibiotics seem to have worked’.. or was that because I asked the vet to double check my dogs heart... i originally booked him in for a health check... no ears, no weight, no tummy checked, straight to the heart to be told he had a heart murmur & had to be referred to get tests, needless to say I’m looking for a new vet that takes the welfare of animals first, before making money! Very disappointed. Read Less

I took my one year old pet rabbit here for over a week visiting every few days as she was very sick. I was treating her the way that seemed to be helping her and making her better , informed the vet of her improvement and was told to stop all treatment that I had been doing immediately and told to give her more medication which cost a substantial amount. She only went downhill from here so was rushed in again only to be told she was doing fine and to continue when she was half her body weight and clearly in serious pain. After her final visit of being told she was ok she died two hours later. I am deeply upset by the treatment from this vet completely ignoring any symptom I told them about and treating completely for the wrong disease ( which we discovered a few weeks later at an 'actual' rabbit specialist - not like this vet that claim to be but clearly lack a lot of knowledge on certain pets - rabbits being one.) My little rabbit was essentially killed by the treatment he told me to change her to and the treatment I had been administrating would have helped her. During all visits the vet did not once get out a stethoscope and actually listen to my rabbits gut which if he had done he would have heard that it did not sound like what he was treating for. I am very upset by the treatment of this vet and would seriously warn anyone with any animal emergency not to step foot inside this practice. They are arrogant and assume that I am wrong with the symptoms I was describing for my own pet. She was one year old and they didn't even seem to be that concerned on our final visit which worried me- she was far too young. I hope no more animals or families are subjected to the hurt that this practice has caused. Read Less

This is a great vet and for me could not be more conveniently located! Getting an appointment is easy, and they let you know how long it will take so that you can plan accordingly. I had to reschedule an appointment and it couldn't have been easier to do. The receptionist has a brisk but friendly demeanor and is more than happy to explain any charges and discounts. She informed me that I could get a reduced rate if I had my cat chipped at the same time that I got her vaccinated, which was a great idea! The waiting room is very small with minimal decor, but is a pleasant enough space to sit while waiting. I took my longhaired tabby Marmalade to get her vaccinations and flea/worm treatment a couple of weeks ago. No matter how I try and disguise the supermarket brand tablets, she just will. not. eat. them. Last time I tried this tactic I just ended up wasting them and having to buy more, so really it works out cheaper to go and get the back of the neck treatment from the vets! She's a verrrry skittish kitty and hates being in her carrier so having this place just a minutes walk from my flat is a huge help! The vet herself is lovely and was very good with Marms, and the treatment of flea/worm/vaccinations itself was over in about 10 minutes. We did have to wait a little while before going in but not more than about 15 minutes. Next week I'll take her back to have the second round of vaccinations and get her chipped as well. All in all I was very happy with the price and service, glad to have this as my local vet! Read Less
