Two weeks ago exactly (31st January )Paul saved the life of our Italian Greyhound Freddy who ate a raw pork bone which Β crumbled into sharp indigestible fragments and scratched the inside of his intestines very badly(causing severe risk of perforation and consequent peritonitis ). Freddy could have died, but thanks to the skill and care Paul took in removing the bone, and with brilliant after care he has survived! Β We weren't insured either , and were expecting a crippling bill; but we were given an estimate before hand and even with the all the X-rays, anaesthetic, operation and medication included we still felt that the bill was very fair and reasonable. Β I must say I rate McDonald Vets very highly indeed and would recommend them to anyone. Read Less
