I booked my two dogs for their booster shots. Also asked how much they charge for a prescription and was told it was £17.00 I asked for a prescription for Simparica Flea treatment. ARVONIA are charging £49.99 and on line you can purchase for £29.00 they said that the prescription would be emailed that afternoon. (Thursday 6th July). On Monday 10th I contacted my supplier who said they hadn't received the prescription phoned ARVONIA and they assured me it would be sent straight away, again nothing done until another call which finally they sent off the prescription today. Tuesday 11th.. This lunch time I had a call from ARVONIA who asked for payment of the prescription and this very rude and aggressive young woman said it was £19.00 I said they quoted £17.00 she very rudely said it had gone up to £19.00 and had been that amount for 6veeeks to which I replied that they should inform all the staff!! My main complaint was the extremely aggressive attitude the member of staff had and I'm seriously considering moving my two dogs to another Veterinary Clinic. Christine Hill

Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry you feel this way and would be very happy to refund you the difference. Unfortunately we do need to ask for payment for prescriptions, prior to them being sent to outside companies.
We are very disappointed this has led you to leave us a one star review, our care for our customers pets is our top priority.

I have been coming here for almost seven years . I just can’t praise them highly enough. Everyone shows such kindness and tenderness .My lab has recently given birth, and to be honest I have probably been a bit over anxious .Arvonia have basically been a hot line for me to share my neurosis . They have been amazing, kind ,reassuring and caring . The team examined all puppies and mother today and just made everything seem ok, for me and of course my beautiful dog.
Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Highly recommend these vets. They were very kind and sympathetic when I had to have my pet rodent put to sleep. Explained what would happen clearly, and put me at my ease.

My Gordon Setter has been going to this vets who have a real focus on interaction with their clients. My Gordon Setter was overweight and with assistance from the doggie weight management clinic she has lost nearly a stone and looks amazing. Key prognosis of her hip arthritis and subsequent advice and prescribed medicinal products have turned a sad and frustrated dog into a happy and energetic pet. I can't recommend this vets enough, if your after a caring service rather than a 'clinical bland approach' then look no further.

Can't praise them high enough they took our collie in on a Sunday for emergency treatment even though they were in the middle of a fund raising event.

I couldn't recommend this veterinary surgery enough, easily the best I have ever used. When we first when in 2 years ago with our puppy they told us to pop in whenever we wanted and the nurses would give our pup some love and a treat if she was good. This was so simple but hopefully, everytime we walk near the vets now our dog gets excited and more than happy to go in.

Thank goodness I changed my Vets 6 years ago to Arvonia! They are so caring to my cats and their crazy owner, are totally professional but with the added warmth of a "family" feel. You are never rushed with an appointment unlike other Practices I have been to and I would never go anywhere else.....long may they continue and hopefully now they have opened a new practice in Churchdown, will go from strength to strength.

I have been using Arvonia Vets for almost 16 years now and have always found them to be professional, competitively priced and sensitive to the needs of the cats and their neurotic owners! A visit to Arvonia is less like a trip to the vets and more like a catch up with old friends. We moved out of Cheltenham 10 years ago but still keep Arvonia as our local vet.... when you get such good service why go anywhere else. Go on give them a call

I booked my two dogs for their booster shots. Also asked how much they charge for a prescription and was told it was £17.00 I asked for a prescription for Simparica Flea treatment. Everyone shows such kindness and tenderness .My lab has recently given birth, and to be honest I have probably been a bit over anxious .Arvonia have basically been a hot line for me to share my neurosis . They have been amazing, kind ,reassuring and caring . The team examined all puppies and mother today and just made everything seem ok, for me and of course my beautiful dog.

I couldn't recommend this veterinary surgery enough, easily the best I have ever used. When we first when in 2 years ago with our puppy they told us to pop in whenever we wanted and the nurses would give our pup some love and a treat if she was good. This was so simple but hopefully, everytime we walk near the vets now our dog gets excited and more than happy to go in.

I have been using Arvonia Vets for almost 16 years now and have always found them to be professional, competitively priced and sensitive to the needs of the cats and their neurotic owners! A visit to Arvonia is less like a trip to the vets and more like a catch up with old friends.
