Mis-diagnosed illness. Wouldnt respond to an emergency call-out. Took my cat in first thing the next morning who was seriously ill. Cost 1,500 in vet bills due to their negligence and when the bill was paid, there were five of them all hanging around watching while we paid and I can only assume waiting for their money. Never again. Gross negligence.

DO NOT TRUST this practice with your beloved pets. They misdiagnosed our dog as having a bad back for almost a month and continued to assure us he just needed to rest along with painkillers. They didn’t do any scans or blood tests even after multiple phone calls and seeing two different vets at the same practice.
His symptoms continued for weeks but we were still assured it was only a bad back. We showed the vets videos of his condition
We ended up calling another vets who seemed extremely worried after explaining the same symptoms wanted to see him ASAP. They put him straight onto stronger painkillers, did scans and blood tests. We were told they’d found a huge tumour approximately 12x8cm in his abdomen. This was a huge shock to us, He was put to Sleep after being told for a month he just had a bad back and needed rest. Our dog was only 6 years old, our previous lurcher lived to 14.
We are still struggling to come to terms with this situation a month after his passing.
Woods vets sent a summary of their findings to Severnside. We sent two letters and have only just had a response. Unfortunately from their response it seems Severnside have taken no responsibility for the mistakes and misdiagnosis they have made. In their letter back they’re even boasting about how the have a waiting list for new clients.
It appears they do not wish to use our unfortunately situation to learn from their mistakes.
I will be warning everyone I know not to use Severnside and will never use them again. We will also be taking this further.

Can't rate highly enough. Have been with the practice for 37 years. Many times over the years I've had need of them and no matter what time day or night my dogs have received 1st class treatment. I remember being sat with Mark and Bethany(whose now moved on) in the early hours of the morning fighting to save my Charlie, she was desperately ill between them they gave us 11 months more with her. I've been at the surgery on Christmas morning, Boxing day early morning, late at night. Most recently Kallie got into difficulties and needed help to deliver a stuck puppy then it was decided best to do a caesarean to deliver the other pup this was on a Saturday morning no problem. Would recommend Mark and his team everytime First class service from a first class team

A great vet, very caring about all my pets, we have had a 3 cats, a dog and three hamsters under their care now and can never fault them on their time or attention with them. Have seen us through good and bad and always taken the most care of our animals. Very happy and recommend this vet to everyone.

THEY CHARGED TWO CONSULTATION FEES IN TWO DAYS TO BE TOLD THE SAME THING. THE VETERINARY NURSE COULD NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS! HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF MY CAT WHAT SO EVER. IT WAS LIKE TALKING TO A BRICK WALL, THEY THEN PROMISED A VET CALL TO DISCUSS MY CATS KIDNEY DISEASE AND WE ARE STILL WAITING... I THINK THEY ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY AND COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR PETS.

Wonderful to find a lovely kind Vet who does homeopothy which I find fascinating and essential for my dogs' health and well-being. To have a Vet who also supports raw feeding and complimentary therapies such as canine massage therapy is also excellent. One of my dogs doesn't like visiting Veterinary Practices and usually shakes but both of my dogs love Edward and the last time I was there my "fearful" dog got out of the car and was quite happy to enter the building. I never feel as though my consultation is rushed. It's a shame Edward is not at the practice more often but I am truly grateful he is at least there once a week.

We have been with Severnside for a good 7 years now and they still prove to me every visit that they are the best place to be. 6 dogs and 2 cats, all treated with the best of care and patience. Not only that they listen to us when we know something is not quite right...when many would tell us not too worry and send us away. Today, a Sunday morning and I had to rush one of the dogs in for emergency surgery. Within 2hrs he was seen, treated and back home. Reasonable prices despite what other reviews may say. You get what you put in people and if u treat them with the respect they deserve they will do the same.

At what point did profit come before compassion? Clearly you're the Donald Trump of vets. Won't ever use you again.

Luckily a rescue and another vet attended. The extra waiting didn't help the horse at all though and he isn't doing great. Shame on you.

Mis-diagnosed illness. Wouldnt respond to an emergency call-out. Took my cat in first thing the next morning who was seriously ill. Cost 1,500 in vet bills due to their negligence and when the bill was paid, there were five of them all hanging around watching while we paid and I can only assume waiting for their money. Never again. Gross negligence.

DO NOT TRUST this practice with your beloved pets. They misdiagnosed our dog as having a bad back for almost a month and continued to assure us he just needed to rest along with painkillers. Wonderful to find a lovely kind Vet who does homeopothy which I find fascinating and essential for my dogs' health and well-being. To have a Vet who also supports raw feeding and complimentary therapies such as canine massage therapy is also excellent.
