Do not use this vet! Be very careful about leaving a sick pet with Atila Wurth. My sister and I met with Atila Wurth May 27th for a fuller account of how my healthy dog Rory died during a routine procedure, with me paying for all the pre-health tests and extra IV fluid during the procedure. I was also called during the procedure by the vet to say all was going well. Atila informed there is a gap in the medical report. This is a breach of the code of professional conduct for veterinary surgeons 2.5 Veterinary surgeons must keep clear, accurate and detailed clinical and client records. We are awaiting answers from a full report. That aside my biggest concern is how Atila treats bereaved and vulnerable customers. As at the end of the chat , I asked about payment and how we go about organising cremation. I was aware of the costs so far (£846) as we had been informed on Friday (the day of Rory's passing) and my friend wrote it down (as I was incapable of processing anything). We were told on Friday we could dispute these costs as we took in a healthy dog for a routine procedure yet he died with no answers as to why. Despite this I agreed to pay the £846. Atila said the cremation costs had already been added, despite us not pre-approving them which I believe is another contravention of the code. However, I did agree to pay. Atila then proceeded to say I was incorrect about the total costs as we were being charged for CPR. I was aghast from a moral standpoint that Atila charges to attempt to save the lives of healthy animals when things go wrong on the medical table. Therefore I queried this. Upon this query, Atila's attitude changed. I believe he thought I was querying not paying the whole bill rather than just the CPR, even though I'd already agreed to pay the £846. He proceeded to say we didn't love our pet multiple times, that he could have left our dog dying on the operating table. I reached for my phone and informed I was going to film the interaction. I knew Atila's behaviour was in complete contradiction of the professional code. Atila informed me filming was against the law and that I didn't care about the law as I didn't care about my pet. I will never forget the way he used our beloved pet in attempt to hurt us. Atila has made this process even more unbearable, which I didn't think was possible. Therefore, I have to bring Atila's conduct to the attention of as many people as possible. I can't bear the thought of any other bereaved owner going through this. We idolised Rory so to be told we didn't love him by a veterinary professional is incomparably painful. Atila is abusing the trust put in him by bereaved and vulnerable customers Read Less

I would stay clear of this vets. When our Dog started not bearing his weight down on one of his legs we decided to take him to see Companion care vets in Brentford.. Never been there before but the receptionist sounded very polite and friendly. Anyway after paying out £600 for him to have xrays the head vet Atillia wurth diagnosed him with Arthritis feeling rather relieved we went on our way with prescribed pain medication. After several weeks with no improvement we went back, Then the vet said well it could be bone cancer or Arthitis but he had already diagnosed him with Arthitis. The vet then recommend An animal hospital for further tests but this could cost up to £3000 instead of just offering another X-ray there and then. Feeling abit uneasy about the vet and the whole situation. We decided to then go to another vet, My only regret is we didn't do it sooner Our New Vet had requested our dogs xrays from Companion care vets... Same Xray.. Different Vet.. Unfortunately a different diagnoses.. Bone cancer💔 Our New Vet even showed me the Sun burst Appearance in the bone.. It was there as clear as day.. How an earth could this Companion care vets misdiagnose is beyond me So us as a family are feeling very let down, Angry and very Sad.. If we had known ealier of his condition we proberly would of opted for surgery on his Affected leg.. But 2 months into a wrong Diagnosis his chances of survival are now very slim... So our only option now is to make him as comfortable as possible and say goodbye when that day Comes💔 I've recently had to tell my 6 year old that her best friend will die sooner rather than later.. So we are all very heartbroken at the moment.. My advice Please Go to a better vet. We wish we did sooner Read Less

I’m using companion care for 8years,never had any problems with them, with my dog and cat, always friendly and helpful, until I had appointment with pregnant lady, she requests to put muzzle on my dog (which he never ever wears before and is more than friendly dog)she said he is big and strong and she doesn’t trust him(7years old never bite anyone, never been aggressive and live with kids around everyday)I think that really stress even more and make feel my dog unwanted, unsafe there and I would say he is getting panic attack always when is vaccinated or getting close to this place now.She couldn’t touch my cat because of pregnancy and I couldn’t manage to hold my cat and dog still all the time, which was not a problem for years before. It’s been some time now and I’m very happy for last appointment there(with Rubinder Dhothar),the lady was very professional, very friendly, find the way to calm my dog, which is not easy now,she truly care about animals and know how to deal with them, you can say that after few minuts.I was worried I need to change the place after not good experience but if all team will deal with animals like she did today,I will stick to companion care forever.I would recommend it to anyone.Very happy for last visit. Really poor service with a hard-sell. I thought hard sell had passed by the way-side now, but this vet unfortunately has not caught up with the times. When taking a young dog into the vets for a spay, I was quoted one price by reception (even after I asked very clearly what all other potential costs could be), but when in the room and committed to surgery, they brought out 120 worth of extra costs that were required if I wanted to give my dog the best chance of surviving the spay (routine operation). This included blood tests for lung worm, pre-op blood tests to make sure she could cope with the anaesthetic and different flea treatment (that pets at home had sold - frontline vs advocit). All in all, I don't mind paying 300 for the operation, but I totally and whole-heartedly disagree with hard-sell in the vet office giving the client no choice. I would strongly reccomend going to a vet that treats you with respect and not as a cash-cow. On the good side - the vet I met was friendly and seemed reluctant to have to hard-sell.... Read Less
