I very much like all of the vets and staff at John Ball. However against RCVS guidelines they do not routinely give itemised invoices. I never thought about the importance of this until my dog received some injections at John Ball and then subsequently needed out of hours emergency care provided by another vets in East Molesey. I could not communicate to the 24hrs vet at 4am what medication my dog had already received by John Ball as only a cash till receipt was given! I'm afraid my dog died. I don't blame John Ball at all for my dogs death. However, I did write to them and let them know what had happened and that they should issue itemised receipts in future. I never received an answer or acknowledgment to my mail. The emergency vet did contact John Ball upon opening to get the medication details, so John Ball knew that my dog was in emergency care. A week later I had to go to John Ball to sort out insurance paperwork. They had no knowledge of my dogs death which was a shame and very upsetting as he'd been with them for 10 years. Read Less

Second to none. Every member of staff is warm, friendly and happy to be helpful. I never cease to be impressed with Andy, or "the best Vet. ever" as he is known to my hound, Tamu. On first meeting Andy he literally diagnosed an unresolved problem from 'over the other side of the car park'. Almost 3 years of anaesthetised exploration and procedures at a different Vets. and here's Andy, who didn't even need to lay hands on my dog to know the issue. Andy has since performed 2 procedures on Tamu and more recently worked doggedly against confusing and conflicting symptoms until finally coming to understand why she was struggling to walk. He's a genius driven by a big heart and Tamu and I are so so grateful to him and all the wonderful staff at Cobham Veterinary Centre. Thank you guys. Read Less
