I have been going to this vet for over 15 years it was excellent when run privately by Dean but now it has been taken over by Medivet I’m seriously thinking of taking my dog somewhere else. The nurses and receptionist are excellent, appear to know more than the vets with whom I am very disappointed with on more than one occasion. Not knowing what to do with a small lump on my dogs body after cutting my dogs nail too short causing it to bleed on his bad paw that we took him for in the first place! I was becoming as traumatised as my poor dog. We came out and spoke to one of the wonderful nurses that have been there for many years and felt she knew more than the vet regarding my dog that she has known for years. It would be nice to see the the same vet more than once! The personal care seems to have disappeared . I’m looking for a more personalised vet. Such a shame .

We went there for many years with our 4 cats Dean and staff were absolutely brilliant,sadly we moved out of area otherwise we would still be taking our cats there.

A poor experience now practice taken over by chain Medivet. Vital school boy errors were made by supposedly experienced vet. We were shocked and concerned by their lack of real experience. (Nurse/receptionists were great with our cat) Overall we felt it a money making first set up.

This Vet Practice used to be a private one run by Dean. No more! It has been sold to MediVet - a rip off machine. It is a quality business making a lot of money with poor bare, which is not great for my pet. Also has very limited services and the new Vets are quite inexperienced. I strongly advice pet owners to explore other practices in Croydon. One of my friends saved her dog by moving to Annes Vet on Pampisford Road. That's where I'm moving to. They do various scans and also has 27/7 care. Anne is also a vet of great standard as Dean.

I have been using this vet practice since 2000 for our 4 cats and their service is fantastic. Lovely caring staff, the vets and veterinary nurses, and high quality, professional service. Thoroughly recommended. Our elderly cat was very well cared for in his last year, he had a number of problems and Dean was on top of his health issues and managed Luca's health in a professional and high quality way, I couldn't have asked for more. The vets also have a great sense of humour, which is especially endearing when they are faced with cats who just don't like going to the vets! They are all very helpful and sympathetic and I will continue to use them for years to come.

I am a bit confused while reading all these reviews.
Got a small puppy and was waiting for the owners to send me the full paperwork. Meanwhile I sent my wife to check with our local vet regarding info about vaccinations needed as we are new for having puppies (never had before). The vet started getting rude when she noticed that we don't carry documents with us (should I start carrying my passport everywhere?)
and because my wife is a foreigner she assumed that the puppy was smuggled in from abroad, so without hesitation she contacted the authorities who came to my door.
It wasn't a great deal as we were able to get all the documentations and prove that our Puppy is a 100% UK breed. But my question is, how sad that vet could be? and is this the way how a person reacts to assumptions?
I think if they keep on having this attitude, they will be facing a huge law suit bill...

I have been going to this vet for over 15 years it was excellent when run privately by Dean but now it has been taken over by Medivet I’m seriously thinking of taking my dog somewhere else. This Vet Practice used to be a private one run by Dean. No more! It has been sold to MediVet - a rip off machine. It is a quality business making a lot of money with poor bare, which is not great for my pet. Also has very limited services and the new Vets are quite inexperienced. I have been using this vet practice since 2000 for our 4 cats and their service is fantastic. Lovely caring staff, the vets and veterinary nurses, and high quality, professional service. Thoroughly recommended. Got a small puppy and was waiting for the owners to send me the full paperwork. Meanwhile I sent my wife to check with our local vet regarding info about vaccinations needed as we are new for having puppies (never had before).
