Fantastic and professional veterinary practice that is really holistic about their approach to your pets. I've had to go in a few times for my cat, including one operation under GA and the pre-care and after-care was exceptional. I felt really confident with their recommendation and care and was kept up to date throughout the day. It's always easy to speak to the phone to the vet if you have any queries, they always seem to have time to assist which is very appreciated. Would definitely recommend this veterinary practice and all of its staff.

Really bad experience with this vets treating my cat. They are all about billing and do not have great care for attention to pets in my experience.
I paid £900 for my cat who was 18 to get her some of her teeth taken out, on their recommendation. After the operation she went down hill I was concerned the effect of the operation on an old cat. She developed a Sore on her neck soon after the operation and they injected it to remove fulfilled many times at £65.00 and time, with additional cost for cream. The sore did not heal for over a year and was causing her lots of pain, so I went to a different vet who informed me it was a tumour. My cat sadly died at 19 after a long painful year, had I been given that information before I would of put her down to put her out of her pain.

Just got back from taking my cat to see Alan and she saw Mary yesterday and I'm so pleased that we switched vets. They were both supportive and understanding, explained things clearly and answered any questions that I had. Rayah was also very spoilt and got lots of strokes even though she wasn't impressed with her third day in the vets. Thank you!

I took my cat here for her regular check ups. They were always lovely and helpful. They were also there when my beautiful cat was poorly. They investigated as much as was fair, always thinking about her welfare. I was devastated when they couldn't save her, but she was about 12 years old, and had a good life with me. Thank you Blackheath vets. I never thanked you because I was too upset at the time.

Went to the vet for puppy check up and first set of vaccines (so far). Saw two different vets for the appointments (but would have been nice to see the same one for both), but both vets were very friendly and made the puppy feel very comfortable. No hesitations about going back for the second set of vaccines.

Like some others on here I am amazed about the negative comments - our husky Lola has been a patient here since she was a pup - and Alan has always been easy to talk to - honest with his views - and extremely caring of Lola. I had to attend the surgery a couple of times recently and have been seen by Ash - who is just as knowledgeable / compassionate / and as helpful as I have always found the whole team to be... and I am grateful that I have such a great resource at the bottom of the road - thank you.

Although this vet is the nearest to my home, I won't be going back.
I found the receptionists to be quite fake and unpleasant. They address your pet but do not address you. The vets also try very hard to up-sell products. They tried to sell me expensive tablets by talking about how my dog my might bleed to death without them. I felt like I was being made to feel like a bad dog owner if I did not agree to buy the pills. My dog was scared to be at the vet and was much more barky then usual and they seemed quite annoyed by this, which I found unsympathetic. However, what annoyed me the most was the poor customer service and not being acknowledged.
I left there with an unpleasant feeling and would not recommend it.

I had to attend the surgery a couple of times recently and have been seen by Ash - who is just as knowledgeable / compassionate / and as helpful as I have always found the whole team to be... and I am grateful that I have such a great resource at the bottom of the road - thank you.

Our two dogs and two cats are both clients here and the service is wonderful, the people are fantastic. Would throughly recommend to anyone who wants a great vet for their pets.

Saw a different vet every time.
Very judgemental, not helpful and always running late.
Final straw was charging me a fortune & putting my dog's life at risk for an unnecessary procedure.

Took Poppy to be Spayed Laparoscopically. She seemed happy enough,and was even excited to go back for her check up. Superb recovery time , would suggest you speak to them about this op if you want a bitch spayed, as they recover super fast. She was only done 5 days ago and shes off the lead and as hyper as ever!

Although this vet is the nearest to my home, I won't be going back.
I found the receptionists to be quite fake and unpleasant. They address your pet but do not address you. The vets also try very hard to up-sell products. They tried to sell me expensive tablets by talking about how my dog my might bleed to death without them. I felt like I was being made to feel like a bad dog owner if I did not agree to buy the pills. My dog was scared to be at the vet and was much more barky then usual and they seemed quite annoyed by this, which I found unsympathetic. However, what annoyed me the most was the poor customer service and not being acknowledged.
I left there with an unpleasant feeling and would not recommend it.
