Chingford Companion Care

London, Greater London
General Info
At Companion Care we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Companion Care practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself at your local Companion Care, why not take a practice tour?

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE...A mis diagnosis from INEXPERIENCED Vets led to my beloved cats death. They sedated him when they should not have and he never woke up. Between the 2 vets they did not pick up on that his state was critical and needed emergency care (i took him 2 days in a row). The heartbreak has brought me to my knees. The lady vet up to now has not faced me or spoken to me aside to tell me over the phone that he had died and I need to tell her in the next 10 minutes if she can do an autopsy...how callous and cruel. She sent the other vet (Roman) to speak to us on the day of his death when we got to the practice 45 minutes later. She had left for the day I think. Roman himself although considerate and caring at the time only has around 2/3 yrs experience and is from abroad, where maybe they haven't been exposed to much complicated issues/trauma. Management have not contacted me either or expressed any concern, condolences. This practice has changes hands at least twice in the 7 years I have been going there and the quality of vets just isn't there, they seem to have a high turn over of staff as well. The signs were there all along but having relatively healthy pets I thought this Companion Care would be okay as I only go in for their boosters. Needless to say I am NEVER going back there and I would urge anyone with cats to find another vetinary practive with much more experienced staff, the pain of losing a member of the family is unbearable. Managed to fit me in for a last minute appointment for my cat on a Sunday morning, and every other follow-up appt was at a convenient time. The vet, Paula, was brilliant. Thorough and experienced. The lovely receptionist/nurse even cleaned my cat up after a toilet accident so I didn't have to drive home in a smell. Lots of more complex cases in the waiting area who also had good things to say about this vets... Thoroughly recommend. Read Less
