I recently tried another newer vet practice in my area but although very good, Allpets has the edge over other vets. I understand Mr Lockerbie has now retired which is a shame - a lovely man who will be missed. Moved to the area looking for a new vet and found this practice to be great. Vets and support staff all very caring and went above and beyond in pet and customer care. Felt the price was reasonable for £260 my cat had sedation, an anal gland procedure, a minor eye operation, cone of shame and 2 included checkup visits. My blind cat is in less pain now as the vet found a solution that other vets missed in the past. Clinic has parking spots right out front too which is handy with stressed pets. Read Less

We first took our Jack Russell X puppy to Allpets Catford after our other vets at the time discovered she had a heart problem and told us to return her 'like you would a jumper with a hole in it'. With love, care and medication prescribed by Allpets she lived for another 10years ! (8 years longer than expected). I took my cat to the vet last month for bugs problem. The vet there didn't really pay attention and just said it's a flea problem. I was confused because I know there are some big bugs on my cat and obviously they're too big to be fleas. I finally found the bugs and tried to show him and he just said "DISCUSTING." I have been using this vets since Mr Lockerbie first set up in practice. He treated a dog that we found in our garden for free. Lucky the dog (my brothers name for the dog) lived many happy years after recovering. They have treated my pets well and are very reasonable. Last year I had to have my 21 year old cat put to sleep and last night I had to have my baby boy chihuahua put to sleep. They do not try to extend your pets life for profit. They tell you the truth. I have used All Pets for twenty years and have been very happy with the professional service offered by Michael Lockerbie. No vet is cheap, but in comparison with other local vets, All Pets is reasonably priced and not, in my long experience of the practice, the 'rip off' claimed by others on this site. On the occasions that euthanasia has been the only option for one of my pets, I have been treated with nothing but kindness and sympathy by the staff. Read Less
