I have left this vets after Saturday. I had a routine check up at 1:15pm.
I contacted them whilst on route to my appointment, due to a train delay I was running a few minutes late. The receptionist explained if I was late I may have to wait between appointments to be seen.
I arrived three minutes late and the practice was empty with one person in with the vets. Three other people arrived with their pets after me and were let in before me.
I got talking to the gentleman who was in with the vet and asked what time his appointment was for he told me 1pm.
So even though I was three minutes late I would of still been waiting, yet three other people were allowed in before me.
After years of experience with this vets with both my current and previous pets it’s unfortunate that unless you are spending money they really don’t want to know. Read Less

Stay clear of this place they are complete charlatans. Always trying to upsell you random vaccinations for the latest Bulgarian viruses you've never heard of and that your dog doesn't need. Since I switched to the Goddard's in Mile End, I've been able to save so much money I was able to afford an extra holiday this year for me and the dog. Every 10 minute consultation takes at least half an hour while the vet lists every single virus she can possibly think of that might give your dog a runny nose and flogs you another vaccine for extra £££. in my opinion, Goddards are to focused on how much they are going to charge opposed to your pets welfare.
My dog had a urine infection which was treated with antibiotics and went. Goddards thought it may be the start of kidney failure and after 3 urine tests at 70 a test, were still not conclusive. They wanted to do another urine test and keep my dog in at a charge of 55 so they could " get a fresh sample".
I took my dog to another vet for a second opinion. 35 for a urine test and there's nothing wrong, no signs of kidney failure at all.
I can see that some people are really happy with Goddards and this is just my experience and my opinion. Read Less

I cannot fault the service provided by the Highbury Practice. We transferred to this vet many years back following an unfortunate experience at another local practice and have always been very impressed by the care and consideration with which our pets have been treated. Louise and her assistants were particularly sensitive and gentle in dealing with our 19 year old cat when his time came. I highly recommend the practice. Read Less

Friendly and professional staff. We used to live around the corner, but have moved to Cambridge almost three years ago. We couldn't find a vet locally who would offer the same level of expertise and understanding of my dog's health needs. Therefore I decided to take both my Scotties back to Goddard Highbury. Louise saved my older Scottie's life when he was still a puppy and she will remain being our vet for as long as we have dogs. My dogs feel comfortable there and never refuse the treat they are offered.
Additionally, I never had any difficulties with payments as this practice dealt directly with my pet insurance company. One of my dogs is on Goddard's cover plan for flea, worms and vaccinations, which is cheaper and better than the one I took for the other dog locally. Read Less

We've been taking our cats here for years, and have always been super happy with the quality of the service, the reasonable prices, but--perhaps most importantly--the kindness and compassion of the staff. The vets can be a scary place, not just for the animals, but also for their owners, and the staff, both the vets and the nurses, have been full of information and support, but also genuine passion for what they do, and a very clear understanding of the often stressful situations in which owners find themselves. There was even a time when we were caring for a stray cat and gave them some of our cat's prescription de-wormer--one of the nurses scolded me for administering a prescription medication (with a smile, of course), but gave me a ton of useful advice on what to do next. I applaud the entire staff for being masters of their crafts. Read Less
