Our usual vet was busy. So no appointments for 4 days! My friend suggested Godards in Bruce Grove so we phoned and explained how worried we was and they said bring him straight down (they were due to shut at 7). The receptionist was lovely and ever so helpful and the vet was the same. At no point did they rush us and answered all our questions and looked after our cat. I think Goddards will be our first call from now on. We will be signing up for the ProActive plan !

2 days later I was phoned asking me to pay the rest
My friend had just paid somewhat what over the odds to have his other old dog put to sleep a few days previously.
I experienced that both myself and my friend were being harassed unnecessarily and cruelly for the remainder of the money within literally a couple of days. My friend always always pays his bills, he is also bereaved.
Reception staff were tactless and needs some customer care training ; remember it is not just about the money.

I was greeted by a lovely, very helpful receptionist. The place looked clean and tidy. The vet was a young Asian lady who also was very lovely and professional, she weight my rat and was overall gentle. She has given me a little bottle of antiseptic and overall I am very pleased. Not 5 stars as I found it expensive ( although it's the usual price, I just personally find £30+ expensive) however I will come again and recommend this vet to my friends.

I've been using this vets for 10 years now and on the whole have been very happy.
Having gone through a coupe of vets in the practice since I've used it, I have had my favourites - as have my cats - but the veterinary nurses have always been excellent and some have been there the whole time.
One of my cats has always been a handful (aggressive to strangers when stressed) and they were always brilliant with her when she needed quarterly blood-tests in later life.
That said, it is on the expensive side. However I believe my cats are worth it for the quality of care.

I'd suggest reading the reviews below carefully before using this vet. It sounds to me like they've had a change of staff recently that lowered the standards of service. Our experience (in October 2015) was very poor, and because we took our cat to another vet the shortly afterwards we have a direct comparison. Goddard told us our cat was ok, sold us expensive cat food (made by a company that clearly sponsors them), and pushed us to pay for both a repeat appointment and insurance. The second vet we tried, 24 hours later, diagnosed the cat with an infection, gave antibiotics, and made no attempt to pressure us into buying extra services. The cat improved immediately. Our general sense was that Goddard were far more interested in hard salesmanship than the well-being of the animals they treat. The other vet we used was based in Walthamstow so there are lots of better choices that aren't too far away.

Our usual vet was busy. So no appointments for 4 days! My friend suggested Godards in Bruce Grove so we phoned and explained how worried we was and they said bring him straight down (they were due to shut at 7). The receptionist was lovely and ever so helpful and the vet was the same. At no point did they rush us and answered all our questions and looked after our cat. I think Goddards will be our first call from now on. We will be signing up for the ProActive plan !

I was greeted by a lovely, very helpful receptionist. The place looked clean and tidy. The vet was a young Asian lady who also was very lovely and professional, she weight my rat and was overall gentle. She has given me a little bottle of antiseptic and overall I am very pleased. I've been using this vets for 10 years now and on the whole have been very happy.
Having gone through a coupe of vets in the practice since I've used it, I have had my favourites - as have my cats - but the veterinary nurses have always been excellent and some have been there the whole time.
One of my cats has always been a handful (aggressive to strangers when stressed) and they were always brilliant with her when she needed quarterly blood-tests in later life.
That said, it is on the expensive side. However I believe my cats are worth it for the quality of care.

I'd suggest reading the reviews below carefully before using this vet. It sounds to me like they've had a change of staff recently that lowered the standards of service. Our experience (in October 2015) was very poor, and because we took our cat to another vet the shortly afterwards we have a direct comparison. Goddard told us our cat was ok, sold us expensive cat food (made by a company that clearly sponsors them), and pushed us to pay for both a repeat appointment and insurance. The second vet we tried, 24 hours later, diagnosed the cat with an infection, gave antibiotics, and made no attempt to pressure us into buying extra services. The cat improved immediately. Our general sense was that Goddard were far more interested in hard salesmanship than the well-being of the animals they treat. The other vet we used was based in Walthamstow so there are lots of better choices that aren't too far away.
