MayowVet surgery is an excellent place to bring your pets. All the staff are caring, professional and friendly. Adam the Lead Vet truly loves animals and does his best to help whatever the situation or animal's needs. He has been particularly great with both of 17 year old cats who have many ongoing health problems. I highly recommend Mayow Vet surgery.

We had to put our beloved dog, Meggie,
to sleep a few months ago. This was an incredibly painful experience but thanks to Mayow, her life ended peacefully and compassionately. The vet and nurse were incredible with both myself and Meggie. This includes having an empty practice when we arrived and left, the room set up with adequate lighting, tissues and comfortable bedding on the table for Meggie.
We’re grateful to Mayow and the amazing two nurses for our last moments with Meggie.

From our experience the vet instilled little confidence in their ability to perform routine check ups of them and even provided an incorrect ml measurement. If you are looking for a guinea pig vet, I would recommend an exotic vets, as guinea pigs are classed as exotics.The staff were polite and friendly.

Amazing vets and reasonably priced. They always have my cats best interests at heart. The staff are always willing to help me when my hands are full which is nice. The only thing that lets it down is the older northern lady on reception who must be new because i haven’t seen her much. she is always abrupt and rude unlike the other warm staff members.

Love this vet, we've been with them for 5+ years. Moved farther away and tried two other vets but they didn't compare so we now still use mayow vets even though they are not as close. Staff are really friendly and helpful (often help me with items to car when I have my hands full - 2 cats & 2 kids!) I always feel like the cats are getting the best of care but not to a point where I think it's just for the sake of it. The VIP pet program seems like good value.

Not even deserve one star for what you done to me and my family.
I have been with Mayow Vet for two years with 2 cats registered. It was fine until last weekend and I have been on the VIP plan as well. I consider myself spending decent amount of money here and want my pets to be treated with care esp. in emergency occasion€
Recently, I had a very frustrating experience with Mayow on emergency case and operation for my cat and I already put a complaint to the head office in Streatham Hill vet. The regional manager called me back but the issue stills take a while to solve. I wanted to cancel every subscription with them and no longer step my foot to Mayow veterinary or speak to any of member of staffs who has arrogant, can€t do attitude.
Only person I consider good there is Jill. Sorry Jill I cannot make this review any better but after chasing medical reports for my cats and incapability of your colleagues in reading sending receiving emails or calls that your team showed me yesterday. I am disappointing and has no confident left for the whole business chain. Their argument about miscommunication can be disposed. This purely ignorance, crude attitude, staff incapability, pay no attention even after more than 10 emails and 5 phone calls in one day.
The manager said the ladies at Mayow Vet deal with busy emergency situations in many occasions and I fully agree! It is their jobs and obviously in my experience I did not receive that so called decent service. After complaint they offered me a free consultant appointment and sth credit 50 pounds for my account. I do not accept it and wont accept any thing from them. Truly I know Mayow doesn€t care. I am the one client that walked away from them and that€s it. This is my review and hope my review saves your money and your pets' lifes.

We have been with Mayow vets for around 14 years and I can't recommend them highly enough. They've looked after all our dogs with love and care. Unfortunately, since we've just moved away, we can no longer come to them, and our new vets will have a lot to live up to. So a big thank you to Vincent and all the wonderful staff. Milford will especially miss you and I'm grateful for all the care you've given him in the last couple of years when he's been so unwell. It's always been very reassuring to know that our dogs would be so well looked after.

The Staff are always extremely helpful on the phone when booking appointments & dealing with any questions you have, I really feel that I can ring up & ask all of those 'stupid questions'.
The Vets...well I have only met Vincent & he is fantastic, Hank my Chihuahua loves him...well he did until he was micro-chipped...OUCH!! ;)

We have an African pygmy pet hedgehog 'hoggle' as these pets arent very common we were worried about vet care and finding a vet that has knowledge and experience with them, Tony at Mayow is that vet he's extremely good with hoggle and understands the issues that can arise when having an exotic pet. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and hoggle is treated like a star when he has to go in, the surgery is very clean, affordable and personal including reminder texts which have his name not just 'your pet'! A great veterinary surgery is definitely recommend!

A very good veterinary practice that is great with our two cats - including one which has been a frequent visitor. Every single member of the practice we've encountered has been knowledgeable, extremely caring and thoroughly professional. They manage to put our very nervous cats at ease and we're confident that they are in safe and gentle hands. An added bonus is that they open on both Saturday and Sundays and we have never had difficulties getting an appointment, even at relatively short notice.

MayowVet surgery is an excellent place to bring your pets. All the staff are caring, professional and friendly. Adam the Lead Vet truly loves animals and does his best to help whatever the situation or animal's needs. We had to put our beloved dog, Meggie,
to sleep a few months ago. This was an incredibly painful experience but thanks to Mayow, her life ended peacefully and compassionately. The vet and nurse were incredible with both myself and Meggie. This includes having an empty practice when we arrived and left, the room set up with adequate lighting, tissues and comfortable bedding on the table for Meggie.
We’re grateful to Mayow and the amazing two nurses for our last moments with Meggie.

From our experience the vet instilled little confidence in their ability to perform routine check ups of them and even provided an incorrect ml measurement. If you are looking for a guinea pig vet, I would recommend an exotic vets, as guinea pigs are classed as exotics.The staff were polite and friendly.

The only thing that lets it down is the older northern lady on reception who must be new because i haven’t seen her much. she is always abrupt and rude unlike the other warm staff members.

Love this vet, we've been with them for 5+ years. Moved farther away and tried two other vets but they didn't compare so we now still use mayow vets even though they are not as close. Staff are really friendly and helpful (often help me with items to car when I have my hands full - 2 cats & 2 kids!) I always feel like the cats are getting the best of care but not to a point where I think it's just for the sake of it. The VIP pet program seems like good value.

I have been with Mayow Vet for two years with 2 cats registered. It was fine until last weekend and I have been on the VIP plan as well. I consider myself spending decent amount of money here and want my pets to be treated with care esp. in emergency occasion€

I have always found this vet to be very helpful and informative. They are willing to spend time and answer any questions you may have concerning your pet. And now they are open on Sunday's too is an added bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending them

The Staff are always extremely helpful on the phone when booking appointments & dealing with any questions you have, I really feel that I can ring up & ask all of those 'stupid questions'.
The Vets...well I have only met Vincent & he is fantastic, Hank my Chihuahua loves him...well he did until he was micro-chipped...OUCH!! ;)

We have an African pygmy pet hedgehog 'hoggle' as these pets arent very common we were worried about vet care and finding a vet that has knowledge and experience with them, Tony at Mayow is that vet he's extremely good with hoggle and understands the issues that can arise when having an exotic pet. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and hoggle is treated like a star when he has to go in, the surgery is very clean, affordable and personal including reminder texts which have his name not just 'your pet'! A great veterinary surgery is definitely recommend!

A very good veterinary practice that is great with our two cats - including one which has been a frequent visitor. Every single member of the practice we've encountered has been knowledgeable, extremely caring and thoroughly professional. They manage to put our very nervous cats at ease and we're confident that they are in safe and gentle hands. An added bonus is that they open on both Saturday and Sundays and we have never had difficulties getting an appointment, even at relatively short notice.
