Genuine care for your animals I attended this vet with our previous dog and always found them very efficient. I have retuned to them again with our new puppy and had no problem getting a weekend appointment with Michelle. She was very patient with the million questions we all were firing at her (went with the children) and talked us through what would be the best for our dog. I even had a call from the nurse today to check all was ok after I called this morning panicking about her upset dummy. They are very friendly and accessible. Read Less

My experience has been very positive with this practice with all my pets. Recently my dog had a surgery; the quote was much better than the other vets and the service and aftercare were superb. The vet I see for my pets is nothing but caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. Both my cat and dog were registered with different vet, but I have moved them to this practice as I have full trust in them. Read Less

The reception staff are always lovely and helpful when trying to get an appointment. It's when you see the actual vet that it becomes very hit and miss. Last night I saw a male vet who I found to be totally lacking in any sort of people skills and empathy. When I walked into the room, the first question I was asked was "Do you have insurance?" - not what I was expecting. What I was expecting was some sort of concern for the wellbeing of my dog. Instead what I got was him telling me how much everything was going to cost me, and how urgent it was I speak to my insurance. Does this mean that their patients are treated differently, depending on their insurance status? As it happens, my dog is insured, but knowing what insurance companies are like, I don't know if they're going to pay out or not. Once we got down to the nitty gritty of him diagnosing and treating my dog, he spent more time 'popping next door' to seek advice than he did with us. There was no explanation from him as to why he kept disappearing and at one stage, I was sorely tempted to just walk out. He gave the impression that he had no idea what he was doing and he didnt inspire confidence. When I paid my bill, knowing I had to return the following morning ( today) I asked the receptionist not to book me in with him again. Fortunately today, I saw someone different - Faye was lovely, she was concerned and efficient and knew what she was doing. She was happy to explain things to me, and she did inspire confidence! If it wasn't for the fact that I saw her today, I would be moving my 7 dogs and 6 cats to another veterinary clinic. Previously I have had no problems here and have always had a good service.
