Talked me into a splenectomy on a 15.5!!! years old dog, to all my objections they had an answer just to make sure I will go ahead with the surgery as they knew my dog is insured so I "can afford" it. The surgery cost £2000, from which my dog never recovered, further £1000 was spent on daily drips (£200/day for 5 days). After 5 days of drips to my horror I discovered that they were "only water" no nutrients were added to them to help my dog get stronger as he was refusing all food and water. He was in excruciating pain....I could not watch him suffer anymore and had him put down. I will blame myself for the rest of my life for allowing them to do this to my poor baby. Moneyhungry SOBs.... I would NEVER take any animal to them again. If there was an option to give no stars I would... cause they don't even deserve the one. Read Less
