I am new to this practice and have been so impressed with the level of care, compassion, professionalism and helpfulness. The vets took a holistic approach which recognised that the problem was one of stress, and took a long-term view of treatment. Everyone, in particular the reception team, were very patient (my cat is notoriously difficult to get into the basket). I recommend them highly.

I felt like they were trying to get as much money as possible, maybe is just a feeling but both my boyfriend and me felt the same way.
E.g. My dog had itchy skin and they gave me some antihistamines, however it seems she is not getting better and when i visited another vet, they told me the antihistamines are only efficient in 30% of dogs, which I would have like to know before trying.
Also they booked me for another visit in a week to see if the antihistamine was working etc. which i think was not necessary and they could have been more helpful giving indications of what to do if it works and if it doesnt.
Every time I go, i get a bill between 100-200 pounds.
Also, I would have appreciated if they told me I could get the prescriptions from them and buy cheaper online.
We tried Young veterinary partnership (in Chiswick as well), they offer the first visit for free, and they are amazing, I love them! They are very honest and helpful, all the explanation they give you make complete sense, while they dont try to upsell anything, they give you their honest opinion even if that means not selling anything at all.

We took her back, thinking they would remedy their own mistake, sadly no...
They told us it was skin reaction to the collar.
Then charged us close to £100 for the privilege of this visit with some antiseptic cream...
There is no transparency with their billing.
No price list in situ.
Just a lottery as to a final total.

More interested in making the most money off you than in the care they offer your pets - we've had to take our cat there 3 times in a row now, and every time they've charged us anything between £100 and £200 without telling us upfront what the treatment will cost, or the likelihood of the treatment actually working.
The third visit was actually to remedy a problem they caused the second time we went, and they refused to accept their mistake and charged us £100 to fix their mess.

And now they are tackling our boisterous boy Rover who suffers from an underactive thyroid and therefore needs a bit more care than normal. I am new to this practice and have been so impressed with the level of care, compassion, professionalism and helpfulness. The vets took a holistic approach which recognised that the problem was one of stress, and took a long-term view of treatment.
