Wimbledon Veterinary Surgery

I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking care of my puppy and allowing me to stay in the waiting room wjth cups of tea for so many hours - I am not local - I was just visiting my daughter in the area when the puppy panicked me with sudden breathing difficulties and coughing. As 4 Paws it was a lovely surgery with friendly caring service. Now not good at all. No consistency variable vets, usually quite young and more interested in learning than caring for your animals. Would not recommend. Read Less

Amazing vets we have been going for over 11 years now and never had a problem ,the staff have always been lovely and polite Took my dog in as he had really bad constipation . He was flushed and had a few other things done also but less than 24 hours later he is back to his old self and grateful I would recommend anyone to come here It's the only vets we trust Read Less

Whenever I come here I feel me and my pet are personally cared for. The staff are incredibly lovely and you can tell they care about what they do and the wellbeing of their little patients. Would definitely recommend :) Read Less

They looked after my last hearing dog well, he had to be put to sleep and I'll never forget the compassionate receptionist who was in tears on that day. Most of the vets I've seen here have been great and have taken the time to explain treatment for my dogs. I have a new hearing dog now and I'm so pleased that I already have a great relationship with this vet practice and don't have to hunt around for a nice vet. They are good on access too, I can email instead of phoning them. Read Less

The staff here are great and on point with the reminders of follow ups and appointments. Also quick to administer check ups and any vaccinations whilst being thorough. I was in and out with my cats each time in less than 15 mins. Tip for anyone who drives there, there are car parking spots behind the actual vets, the turning is easy to miss, it's just before the petrol station but saves you having to lug around your pet carrier like I did the first time. Very happy with the service and staff here! I was referred by a friend to this surgery - she raves about them and how they look after her 12 year old cat. I took my kitten here and have had all the first injections and castration and he's been treated so well! He always looks forward to treats! Thanks so much guys! Read Less

We've been using the vets for years. Recently our much loved elderly dog became ill and subsequently died from age related issues. All members of staff at the surgery (and at Streatham Hill) have been professional, caring and thoughtful. We still have two cats and are very happy to keep using the surgery.Read Less

Visited on a Saturday morning for routine care for our cat. Both members of staff we encountered were highly knowledgeable and professional. Despite running a little behind the vet took the time to explain things thoroughly and examine our cat. I was never made to feel rushed and both members of staff were apologetic for running slightly behind time. Luckily our cat has never needed more urgent care but I would be happy to go back any time. Dear all, I am writing this review because I 1. I am very disappointed with the service of this clinic, 2. I hope you can reflect and go to another clinic. I was there a few days ago for rabies vaccination with my cat. My appointment was at 17:30. At 18:30 we finally met the vet. My first impression was that the Vet wasn't confident, but I thought "maybe it is only my wrong perception, I am in clinic". I got used to that my cat first of all should be checked for his weight, tnen teeth and then usually a Vet proceeds with the vaccination. So she first started with the vaccination (it was evident that she was rushing, because in the waiting room there were other clients waiting). After she did the vaccination she started to tell me "I am not authorised to put my signature into the passport of your cat"....and I was like "WHAT"? So I thought who is she if she isn't a Vet? She told me that the licensed Vet will put the signature after a few days, it means that I needed to come back again to collect the passport. Please note, I've paid for a professional service and didn't know what to say as I was speechless at that point. After the weekend I talked with their manager (my God what a false person....) I explained the situation and she told me that I will expect the passport without the sticker of the vaccine on it. I thought she is crazy, because this is the standard procedure when you meet your vet, she/he after the vaccination must put the sticker on the passport along with the signature and the date of the vaccination and when it will expire. Would you believe, that she told me that the stiker is not available anymore. I told her that I will come to collect the passport and I will expect that find everithing there, otherwise I will see her in the court. When I came I was given my cat's passport with the sticker and signature; I noticed than on their desk there were other at least 20 passports and when I asked to another Vet (manager Mrs Vivian Leung, wasn't in the clinic, neither the Vet Dr. Maria Becerra, who did the vaccination). I asked this other Vet what my cat needs to do next before the trip. She told me that there are only 21 days to wait before the trip and then she didn't know if there are other treatments to do. Never again. Now I even sure who is this "Vet" Maria Becerra. Is she a real Vet?? I was still in the room with my cat and the receptionist came inside and were started to explain to her who is the next patient and wht she need to do (I was still there and she didn't finish to check the weight of my cat....) Please if you care about your pet, find another clinic. Don't pay attention to other positive reviews here. And if you still want to go there, at least ask to see a real licensed Vet.Read Less

We live just round the corner and we love the guys here. They are always happy to give advise over the phone, and when you do visit give comprehensive advise and treat out cat with as much love and care as we do. Very comforting. Read Less

Absolutely wonderful - the staff are superb. I had the nurse (Susie/Susan I think her name was?) assist me with insurance stuff. My poor Yorkie X Louie is taken very very ill, so there was a lot of money involved. And she helped me organise a direct payment, when I am clueless about these things (my fiancé is in charge of these things but he is away with work). She spent a good 45 minutes- an hour with me helping me out. I know Louie is in good hands, they have always been prompt knowledgeable. Very very impressed and extremely happy! Read Less
