THIS has been dealt with and accepted responsibility and now using Brentford branch. I have been to Houslow, Brentford and Ealing branches and no problem with them but went to get free mircrochips today so called reception in morning and discussed vaccination booster and I said do not want to do it today. My husband then went to take cats for the microchip and the vet put vaccination in and then charged 49 each cat without consultation and without informing him the price. I stated to Chiswick reception to not do it and my husband did not have time to stop him as no consultation was done and was put in as soon as cat jumped out bag. Called Ealing branch and said I wanted to make complaint and was helpful and said that the vet would call me. I stated i did not want to speak to him. He calls me and says that he had consultation and kept saying 'with all due respect' ( legal terms meaning shut up). No communication between branches and Vet is saying that there are no witness and with all due respect my husband said yes. The boosters are not due until 8th August and I was unsure to even get them as heard by others no need. I dont like putting bad reviews but this has upset me that I did not want them done and did not want to speak to vet and had to. I feel sorry as my cats have been with them for 2 years and not had problems and now its a he said he said thing. All because someone didnt put down 'do not vaccinate'. Not my fault. Will not be bringing my staffie back here again. Last year I was charged 65 for my boys annual booster injection and one worm and flea treatment. This year I took my boy to another vet and paid 42 for the exact same thing. The receptionist was quite rude when I questioned the price and basically said well it has been done now so pay up. Didn't like the vet either as he got stroppy with my boy because he was nervous. The other vet I went to this time was polite, kind and patient with my boy so much so my boy gave the vet one of them famous staffie kisses. Won't ever be going back to Youngs again and I would advise you don't either if your pets mean anything to you. This vet only seems to like and accept those who are well to do (posh) if you are anything else you're not welcomed.Read Less

Just over 3 weeks ago we had to make the very difficult decision to have our cat Maverick put to sleep. We chose to have it done at home and Kristin was the veterinarian to whom I spoke and who arrived to attend to him. When Kristin and the young nurse (sorry I don't know her name) arrived, they were very gentle and patient. She administered the sedative without Maverick even realising, trimmed his leg for the anaesthetic and left us to say goodbye. Although heartbreaking, when the final injection was administered, it was like he just peacefully fell asleep. Both Kristin and the nurse were amazing and I cannot thank them enough for such a faultless final act. Kristin, I hope you get to read this, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. Maverick was a very precious soul. Read Less

This vet did not know what was wrong with my dog. And when we arrived back, he was in oxygen and on the verge of dying. They didn't provide us with any information whatsoever. What's worse is that he was in even more pain and his teeth fell out, and was bleeding profusely. Their claim was that he bit himself. Which has never happened before. It was odd to say the least. We had to put our own dog down, and charged us 400. I would avoid this soul-less chained 'vet'. It's clear that they are incompetent, and they may have probably resulted in my dog's death.Read Less

Read Less

I have been to Houslow, Brentford and Ealing branches and no problem with them but went to get free mircrochips (bought with kitty package)9 today so called reception in morning and discussed vaccination booster and I said do not want to do it today. Get communication sortedRead Less

Staff at Hounslow branch has provided to my dog good care. I would just be more happy if they can discuss details about the care more with me as an owner, explain me what they are doing and why and what my options are. Even though the care by itself was great I was feeling sad that I do not have a chance to understand how they are tresting my dog, and how his health is. :/ Read Less

I am very sorry to say that but I do not recommend visits with sick pets here. My sick kitten got injection for vomiting and pill for warms (even if he was 4 moths old and I've said that he got those before). It didn't helped so next day I went to other vet who felt that my kitten kidneys were little bit too big for his age... At the end I lost him yesterday as it was to late to help him :(((( Maybe there are good for regular check ups but in my case the missed diagnosis.
