Maybe if she cared more about our little kitten when it was alive we wouldn't have had to see her pull, shove and be rough with our dead kitten after we said we didn't want to see his little face because we couldn't handle it. She jumped straight to anaesthetic without even doing a scan to see what was wrong to take the right precautions. I was appalled. Terrible. All we got was a 'sorry'. We was very upset leaving this surgery and to make it all worse we had a little girl run after us for the bill. Tell me ... What decency do you have after we grieve our kitten to then ask for money too straight after, no vets does this! You might have a great track record so far but keep up with that attitude and your practice won't last. You're lucky I had to give a star! Disgusting attitude and we will never return, hopefully you and your staff members learn some manners in the mean time. Read Less

Although this vet practice may be fine when it comes to domestic and owned animals, I would never take a feral cat here for fear it would suffer the same fate as a semi-feral cat a rescue friend was once involved with. The cat in question was used to being fed at a home, where she had recently had 9 kittens, all rehomed, and where she would accept strokes. The cat, who had given birth to several previous litters, was then taken to this vet practice for spaying. The vet, after keeping the cat overnight, and not waiting until she could reach my rescue friend on the phone, who would have found the cat a safe place at a sanctuary, decided the cat was too stressed to stay another night and ended her life. I am sure if this poor cat, who was young and in a perfect state health, could have spoken for herself she would have chosen the sanctuary, where she could have lived out the rest of her days happily, over death, as I am sure would most feral and semi-feral cats, who sadly are too often treated as an inferior species and of lesser value than pet animals. Took my rabbits here for their vaccinations. The veterinary nurse who dealt with us was lovely - can't remember her name! She was very attentive and caring towards the animals. My only nit pick about it (which is why I've given 4 star) is when I entered, I was left standing there waiting to be seen/checked in and it felt a bit awkward... admittedly the reception lady was speaking with another customer at the seating area but a quick 'sorry, I'll be with you in a second, just take a seat' goes a long way for me.
