As promised I would like to take this opportunity to thank Owen, the receptionist & the entire team at Nelson's for demonstrating kindness, understanding & empathy, especially as my Family were distraught in having to humanely put our beloved 10 yr old Cocker Spaniel (Coco) to sleep as Coco was much much more than a dodgy, Coco was a loyal friend, a trusted companion and mischievous brother to our 3 sons.
Owen & the team were absolutely fantastic, patient & understanding especially, in the midst of this unprecedented pandemic exacerbated by the sensitivity & delicacy of the individual predicament, therefore, I extend my gratitude for a good job & well done.

Can’t recommend this vets enough, I’ve been to many over the years and no other vets compares to the amazing staff here. they have looked after many of my dogs past and present and have always provided amazing care at the most professional level, these guys really know their stuff and they do not rip you off!!
I can honestly say I would not dream of taking my beloved pets anywhere else... I would travel far and wide as I know I can trust and believe these people. I can’t recommend them enough.

This Vet Clinic is a real gem! We have been coming to Mark Nelson`s clinic in Thornton Health for a number of years now with our multiple furry family. They always aim to accommodate your request when you call to make an appointment, even at a last minute if they can. I personally always feel at ease when leaving our animals under their care. They whole team from the Reception Team to Nurses and Vets Dianne and Mark, is truly wonderful. My special thanks goes to Vet Ian :)He is extremely knowledgeable and great at explaining things so you become more knowledgable yourself- you also never feel that you are being sold product/treatment any more than you really need to. They all seem to be genuinely interested in getting your animal better. I would highly recommend this Clinic to anyone who wants to place trust in a Vet Surgery to take care of their animals- without any hesitation.

Mark and the team at the Thornton Heath Surgery are very professional, genuinely care about pets and know how to best help their owners. As a first time owner with a very anxious rescue dog, I found their approach friendly, calm and completely focused on mine and my dog€s interests.
Even though Mark had an important surgery to attend to, he made time to see my dog, Annabeth, and give me useful, no nonsense advice. Most importantly, he actually listened. He never made me feel like he was in a rush (even though I think he was) and I left feeling completely reassured.
He even talked me out of doing unnecessary tests saving me an additional expense.
Although this surgery is quite a bit further to get to than my nearest vet, I will definitely be going back... as another reviewer also said, I can€t recommend Mark highly enough. Thank you to him and his team.

Absolutely brilliant. I've been bringing my rabbits here for two years and it's by far the best practice I've ever been to. All the staff are great and every vet I've seen has been friendly, professional, knowledgeable and practical. Fantastic value for money too - each time I go I'm surprised by how reasonable the fee is. Based on my experiences so far I can't recommend them highly enough.
