The receptionists are wonderful, as the first point of contact they are understanding, professional and reassuring that your pets are in safe hands. All the vets are efficient, consultations are not rushed and they spend time discussing various treatment options. My dogs have always received excellent care and have been seen immediately in times of emergency.
My family and I have used this practice for 37 years and have always been treated with respect, I cannot fault the service. The staff are always happy, and knowing that the staff who work there have been there for several years shows that it must be a great place to work.
I have complete confidence in the vets and nurses at this practice, they are experienced, empathic and honest. I would not use any other practice.

This fab team have been looking after our many and varied animals for years and years. Nothing is too much trouble, the reception staff are superb (you know who you are!) and always ask after us personally as well as our animals. The advice from Mike Nolan and the team is always pragmatic and honest, and, whether good news or bad, our animals are treated with dignity. We have loads of vets surgeries which are much closer to us - but Darley House is the best. We have recommended them to all our friends over the years. Excellent!!

I had the greatest pleasure having Mike Nolan and "the team" at Darley care for my rescue dogs for many many years until I moved too far away to get there. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mike and the excellent staff, who's care and attention, knowledge and experience are second to none. I will always be grateful for their compassionate approach to our rescued lurcher Meg, who lived to be 20yrs old, thanks in no small part to the advice and treatment received from Darley House.

The surgery has its own car park which is a bonus as they are located in the town center. The reception staff are very friendly, welcoming & helpful. We have taken out two dogs there since we got them, in fact we have gone to Darley house for many years even though we have several vet practices nearer to where we live! The vets are very experienced and caring we have both our dogs neutered there and they have recovered quickly. The veterinary nurses are so good with the animals. In the surgery they have a display board with relevant advice to fit in with the time of year & pests /paracites/ infections to be aware of.Darley house also supports the Destitute Animals Sanctuary. I would highly recommend them.

Had to make the dreaded visit yesterday with my beloved old rottie Zara. It was a last minute decision and we weren't registered but the fab admin staff got us in within a half hour of ringing. All the staff were marvellous, especially Mr Nolan and Jodie. Empathetic, kind and very loving to my dog. No pressure or stress put on me. I will register my other dogs here now. A traumatic visit made easier by wonderful people. Highly recommended 🐾🐾❤

I definitely would have given this vets 5 star except for several very unpleasant experiences I've had with one particular receptionist who is blatantly rude, and openly hostile ( blonde 40's plump lady). This is a shame considering the others are lovely and the vets themselves are amazing, taking care of my dog and probably saving his life.
A great vets but need to be careful who man's their first point of contact desk as first impressions really do matter.
Oh and back to my receptionist, when I make a payment, a thank you would be nice...or maybe just look at me, it's basic good manners.

Best vets ever. Only vets I will ever use. The only reason my dog is still with us today is because of the outstanding care and attention recieved from the vets, the nurses and the reception staff. I have used Darley House for all my pets and I can't recommend them enough. The staff treat the animals with an enormous amount of love and attention and are also so caring, supportive and friendly to us owners too. Thankyou to each and everyone of the staff at Darley House

Nothing, really bad communication, I booked in for a herpes jab for my pregnant bitch 9 days before it was due, I phoned up the day before on the off chance to change my appointment by 15 minutes to be told they don't even stock it and can't get it in! If it wasn't for Animal Trust in Bolton saving the day I would have been in serious risk of losing a full litter of pups.

I adopted a little kitten from Darley House back in November as he had been dumped on their doorstep. I can't praise this surgery enough. From the minute I got him up until now they have been absolutely brilliant with him. From the receptionists who always are polite, helpful & courteous and ask how he's doing, to the vets who I've seen who have given little Wilbur a thorough check over everytime and have answered every concern I have ever had. The people that dumped him have missed out on a funny mischievous little devil who's settled in brilliantly. And a massive thank you to Andrea who fostered Wilbur till he came to his forever home :0)

The receptionists are wonderful, as the first point of contact they are understanding, professional and reassuring that your pets are in safe hands. Took my bearded dragon to Darley House who was seriously unwell, Mr Nolan brought her back to health. An excellent surgery, Mr Nolan is a superb Vet and is genuinely concerned about the welfare of the animals. He is also experienced in dealing with reptiles. The nurses and staff were also great and we were really well looked after. Highly recommended.. Thank You

Always found the service excellent. Our last two dogs were looked after for almost 14 years and we always felt we were getting the best care possible.
Always found everyone pleasant, and helpful.

Consultation 34 during week. 24 for an antibiotic. One rude flustered receptionist on phone. Cheaper at other places but nice vet. Would go again if needed.

I definitely would have given this vets 5 star except for several very unpleasant experiences I've had with one particular receptionist who is blatantly rude, and openly hostile ( blonde 40's plump lady). This is a shame considering the others are lovely and the vets themselves are amazing, taking care of my dog and probably saving his life.
A great vets but need to be careful who man's their first point of contact desk as first impressions really do matter.
Oh and back to my receptionist, when I make a payment, a thank you would be nice...or maybe just look at me, it's basic good manners.

Best vets ever. Only vets I will ever use. The only reason my dog is still with us today is because of the outstanding care and attention recieved from the vets, the nurses and the reception staff. I have used Darley House for all my pets and I can't recommend them enough. The staff treat the animals with an enormous amount of love and attention and are also so caring, supportive and friendly to us owners too. Thankyou to each and everyone of the staff at Darley House

Nothing, really bad communication, I booked in for a herpes jab for my pregnant bitch 9 days before it was due, I phoned up the day before on the off chance to change my appointment by 15 minutes to be told they don't even stock it and can't get it in! If it wasn't for Animal Trust in Bolton saving the day I would have been in serious risk of losing a full litter of pups.

I adopted a little kitten from Darley House back in November as he had been dumped on their doorstep. I can't praise this surgery enough. From the minute I got him up until now they have been absolutely brilliant with him. From the receptionists who always are polite, helpful & courteous and ask how he's doing, to the vets who I've seen who have given little Wilbur a thorough check over everytime and have answered every concern I have ever had. The people that dumped him have missed out on a funny mischievous little devil who's settled in brilliantly. And a massive thank you to Andrea who fostered Wilbur till he came to his forever home :0)

Been going to Darley House for over 30 years now and can't praise them enough. Mr Nolan has worked wonders with our dogs and cats over the years, the nursing staff are superb and the receptionists lovely. Even at the saddest of times they have helped us so much.
