Absolutely fantastic care and service every time I have been. All of the staff are lovely. They did everything they could to help my young female who had essentially gone into a diabetic coma and they didn't think was going to make it through the night. Because of their care, concern and guidance, she's not only survived but going strong and happily bounds around, despite the fact she is blind in one eye. It is also due to their extraordinary care that my senior cat managed to survive a few extra months, taking even the vets by surprise. And our long furred kitty (now nicknamed gummybear) to finally be back to lovingly wolfing down all the food he can get after his dental surgery to have most of his teeth removed. I would 100% recommend this practice to everyone as everyone there is always so kind and caring and you can tell and all genuine animal lovers Read Less

I have taken my dog to this practice last week, my dog was 12 years old and having explained the symptoms and the dog having an examination I was given metacam (Painkiller) and some tablets as €suspected€ infection in the mouth but could not be certain what was wrong. The tablets Which did nothing for my dog at all so I returned with the 2nd visit (Friday) as my dog was getting more severe as the week went on I was told that it would be ideal to have blood tests done to check her organs were not failing as there was signs they could be, these tests with medications another 126.00 and I was told that my dogs organs were fine but there was a "few" abnormalities but the vet wasn't concerned to be honest. Baring in mind my dog could not eat, could not drink she had blood and gunk coming out of her nose, mouth and her eyes, she had bad stomach and her pads on her paws had come off completely on all 4 paws and she couldn't walk properly or couldn't go to the toilet. I was told STILL she thinks she has an infection her in mouth but wasn't completely sure so bring her in for a dental at the cost of 180.00 (today 16/05) she was also weighed twice and had lost 1kg in a week. The bone structure of her face had been lost. I knew at the beginning of that week i was going to lose my dog but i wasn't prepared to put her to sleep without finding out what was wrong with her if i could fix it, and with little hope I tried with in mind that this could be a "mouth infection" but this was not the case and deep down i knew it wasn't. Yesterday evening 15/05/16 at 2000hrs it was clear that my dog was deteriorating fast and having gone to check on her, her water bowl was full of blood. I rang pet medics (Wardley) and took her down straight away the vet told me it was her organs shutting down the tissue in her paws nose and eyes are all the same and the immune system was breaking them down, the structure of her face had been lost and he told me this within 30 seconds of being in the room with him he said to make our decision easier as a family he would do an ultra scan (no charge) he came back within a minute and showed me the scan and told me that my dog had a large tumour in her liver I could see it clear as day and would have been in absolute agony he told me that i knew what I needed to do, and he was unsure how this had not been picked up on at my earlier visits to the vets on Friday at VETS4PETS. Yesterday I lost my dog I had her put to sleep (no charge by pet medics), of course i am aware this would have been the end result but i could have prevented her being in that amount of pain if i knew at the beginning of the week what it was i was dealing with. I am disappointed to say the least with vets4pets. I will never ever in my life take any of my pets there again. Absolutely scandalous. Money makers, and the worst vets I have ever come across. However I can not thank Pet medics (Wardley) and Tom enough for their complete honesty and integrity because its not often you find that with any vets in my opinion. I was heartbroken walking out of there without her but at least I know she is at peace now, thanks to the team at pet medics for clarifying what it was. Read Less
