Unfortunately my review is not a positive one.been with Victoria vets since 1998 and,in my opinion,it's never been so careless about the animals itself as it's now- what a shame!the people I still appreciate are receptionists, nurses and Fiona from the vets- all other vets I ve seen- and believe me with more than 2 pets in household I ve seen a few of them- they would not care less!what has happened to the brilliant surgery after management and ownership changed?!!!I am still waiting for the call to diagnose my dog- and it's from July!it's disgusting how you treat your customers-never mind one of the vets told us that it's not us who pays you but insurance company -it's not his business!!!I am not even sorry if it sounds rude-staying with this surgery for so long does say that we did like it until last few years!I hope that management EVENTUALLY will get in touch with us- don't even try to ring me or house number, but ring my husband- I am too angry with your service to speak to you with respect Rebecca!never mind that my dog is in constant pain and that vet who initially xrayed him- later said he had no experience in xraying or whatever he meant-offered us tramadol- without diagnose?prescribe this tramadol to your pet if you don't know the side effects it causes!this vet surgery became a joke!Read Less

During a 3-month period of sickness for my dog I saw 3 different vets (and spoke to another on the phone) who gave me contrasting and contradictory advice on how to resolve the problem. It got to a point where one vet was criticising the advice given by another! The only consistent advice they gave was to give her an anti-sickness injection (at 50 a time) which only ever gave short-term relief. I took my dog to another vet who diagnosed the problem with just 2 visits following a logical and methodical approach to the issue. She has not had a days sickness since! Although Victoria Vets do have some staff who really care for, and are knowledgeable about, the animals who visit their practice, I seriously question - based on my experience - whether the knowledge of all of their vets is at the standard their prices and reputation demands.Read Less
