Fabulous caring Vet. Was so kind and gentle with my dog, she was terrified and was allowed to have us with her during lockdown, whuch for us was amazing considering all the vets took them in from your vehicle. Can't praise this Vets enough.

Awful vets. If you want peace of mind and a caring individual to inform you that your animal is either sick or healthy... GO ElSEWHERE!
A member of the vet nursing staff or reception rudely had a go at my family member when they asked if they had a discount or plans for people who haven’t got the money till payday. Apparently that question dignifies the response of ‘we are not a charity, go to the PDSA if you want charity’ with a snotty attitude and a cold look.
Then was seen by the vet for my cat who was elderly and had been very off in her behaviour, he was very rude to us, handling a very thin and elderly cat with force when she wasn’t even fighting him, then asked me what I wanted him to do today?
One, don’t tell me it’s my fault that my cat is frightened of men because she was abused for over ten years of her life by a man! So when I informed you she could be frightened. Don’t try and blame me as if somehow it’s my fault, I was being polite and wanting you to keep your hands free of scratches in case she reacted badly.
As for what I want you to do? Well I’m at a vets love, your the vet, if there is something wrong with my animal tell me and I’ll ask about the options. Not be abrupt and rude and not to mention jabbing three supplement injections into my cat with force and she’s tiny and thin leaving her bleeding! Never going to this place again, rude and disgusting behaviour for people who are supposed to care about their patients. If that was the case, you would care about the people too. Ensuring they have peace of mind and are informed of what could be wrong.
So much for practice of the year 2018 😂

Amazingly kind vets who seem to genuinely care about the animals. I found they were refreshingly not totally driven by money but by compassion.
Thankyou for helping me out in a very difficult situation with my dad’s cat recently when dad was admitted to hospital.

Our little Yorkshire Terrier Jake was recently put to sleep following 11 years of the best care you could ever wish for, Simon and his team always have the best interests of the animal at heart and always went what we felt was above and beyond in the care provided. The staff are also simply outstanding. Jakes final hour was peaceful with us in a seperate room affording both us and him dignity and quiet time. In our opinion they are all simply wonderful and we cannot praise the team at Acorn enough. Thank you from us and from Jake.

Myriam and the girls took wonderful care of Hector, my English Bull Terrier yesterday. Even though he was put to sleep and had a tooth removed he looked like he enjoyed himself and didn't want to leave :) Everything is explained, there are no nasty or costly surprises, and it turned out cheaper than quoted. When does THAT ever happen?! Well worth the hour drive over!

A member of the vet nursing staff or reception rudely had a go at my family member when they asked if they had a discount or plans for people who haven’t got the money till payday.
