i so agree with Tony an absolute rip off only open to rip people off , i just wish they could just realise how much they are ripping people with there that charges, people would pay just to see there...
i so agree with Tony an absolute rip off only open to rip people off , i just wish they could just realise how much they are ripping people with there that charges, people would pay just to see there pets out of pain but the trouble there is no price list up they just make a price up then add a tenner for good measure , would never take my dog here again as they are not animal friendly they are just money hungry ,i would pay anything for my dog but i draw the line at mis diagnoses which cost me £800 and because they wouldn't back down on this i couldn't claim on the dogs insurance . DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND TAKE YOUR PET TO A LOCAL VET NOT THIS PLACE

Totally open for one thing , MONEY ! we all have to make a living but this vets is very over priced and trading for the love of MONEY rather then the love of ANIMALS , as money comes first at all time...
Totally open for one thing , MONEY ! we all have to make a living but this vets is very over priced and trading for the love of MONEY rather then the love of ANIMALS , as money comes first at all times , took 3 kittens and they wanted almost £ 40 per kitten just for a consultation ! £120 even before they looked at them , i took them to Animal trust Vets instead the same morning ,Animal trust didnt and DONT CHARGE £ 40 for each pet for consultation , and i got Stronghold ( Wormers etc) for £ 44 pound , which would of cost £ 160 plus at this vets !,,, also vacs , passport ,, and everything else is far more expensive than any other vets ive been ,, NO WONDER I HAVE MOVED ALL MY ANIMALS TO THE ANIMAL TRUST VETS IN FAILSWORTH NO CONSULTATIONS and CHEAPER AT ANIMAL TRUST !

Our Manchester Terrier, Ellie, wasn't registered here but when she was having trouble jumping onto the sofa and as l it was a Saturday afternoon our own vets were closed. These vets were willing to see her and treated her with great compassion and reassured me that she was going to be alright. Thanks to all concerned

I have been using this practice for nearly 8 years and usually they are helpful ,however yesterday I telephoned because my dog is in pain when she eats, I think she has toothache ( we all know how painful this can be) however I explained due to financial difficulties I couldn't pay till nextweek, but because my dog is in pain now would they please treat her and bill me and I would pay nextweek, they refused. I thought they help as my dog is in pain but money first with these it seems and not the pet's I was disgusted and will never use them again.

Really like the one vet Ursula, she is lovely, really helpful and honest. Some of the others need to develop their social skills a bit more and appear to be trying to rip you off

Refused to treat an injured cat as it did not belong to the person that rang the clinic. Another local serviced offered their help and scanned the cat's microchip, she was reunited with her owners and may have otherwise died as she was injured & left in the cold and rain.

Having become a proud parent of a Siamese Kitten, it was only natural for me to seek the best vet,Researching my local area this was one of the vets I decided to try. Their website is very informative, and it was there that I found their Pet Plan where for £10.99 a month my kitten could get all the required injections, worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and a free months insurance. Before collecting my kitten from the breeder I phoned thet vet to book an appointment and to query about how to go about changing the kittens food over. The receptionist/vet was so friendly and helpful.!!On the day the vets were genuine and set both me and my cat at ease. At the time my furry friend had fleas ( a present from the breeder) but the vet soon remedied this.I have been back since, and have built a nice rapport with the vets and they greet us by name when we come in. I would strongly recommend this vets , it can get busy though which reflects its popularity .

Told us our pet needed xrays at 270 and likely surgery over 1300 without telling us anaesthetic would likely kill our pet. Gave it 2 shots at 15 each, without telling us the cost first. Animal trust ...
Told us our pet needed xrays at 270 and likely surgery over 1300 without telling us anaesthetic would likely kill our pet. Gave it 2 shots at 15 each, without telling us the cost first. Animal trust gave us the full information and some anti inflammatory medication for 16. Our pet is completely fine now without expensive procedures. Only good thing was they gave us the number to the animal trust. Who were a lot more friendly and cared about the animals and not just your money.

This vet was recommended to us, and I would definitely recommend them too. The staff on the reception and the vets are always friendly, welcoming and professional. The vets will work with you to provide a solution that you're happy with. They also provide a free service and advice for overweight cats. Dermot in particular has been brilliant. We've been coming here with our 3 cats and one dog for about 5 years now. There are closer vets but I wouldn't switch. You're in safe hands here.

I cannot praise this Vets highly enough, from reception staff, nurses and Veterinary Surgeon Dermot, 1st class care, the surgery itself was very clean, tidy and comfortable, full explanations were given regarding my cat getting neutered, staff very pleasant and polite, I felt very happy and reassured leaving my cat Oreo in their care, we were kept informed after his surgery and when we picked him up a full explanation given and all instructions given for his aftercare, all questions answered, I then received a phone call the following day asking how he was, superb service, I wish to thank all staff involved and would highly recommend The Avenue Veterinary Clinic to all pet owners x

This vet was recommended to us, and I would definitely recommend them too. The staff on the reception and the vets are always friendly, welcoming and professional. The vets will work with you to provide a solution that you're happy with. They also provide a free service and advice for overweight cats. Dermot in particular has been brilliant.
