Since becoming part of the Village Vet Group, the small Cottenham branch vet surgery that was part of Robin Hughes-Parry and Associates has gone from strength to strength. Robin now heads the team over at Village Vet Longstanton leaving Mardie and Zoë covering most surgeries. Alongside their duties at Village Vet Cottenham, Zoë and Mardie provide veterinary services for Wood Green Animal Shelter at their Heydon branch near Royston.
Retaining the personal touch that comes with a small village vet practice, Cottenham pride themselves in providing an intimate, friendly, caring and compassionate service to all their clients and patients. They have in-house laboratory equipment allowing them to run routine blood tests. In addition, they have a fully equipped operating theatre for minor operations on small dogs, cats and rabbits. Any patients requiring xrays, ultrasound, dental work or major surgery are referred over to the Longstanton or Milton (Vet24) teams with whom they work closely.

They are good, when they actually open! They were closed for god knows how long during Summer months, with a notice pinned to the door with dates they would be open!

They are good, when they actually open! They were closed for god knows how long during Summer months, with a notice pinned to the door with dates they would be open!
Tried to ring several times today, just get ansaphone message saying what times they are open & what times they answer the phones. Unfortunately, I have been ringing during the times they are supposed to answer the phones! Presumably the Moston Lane surgery is closed once again!! Don't know why they bother having this surgery at all, it's never open!

Much better than my last vet, the young man is really gentle with the animals and seems to genuinely care about their well being. Didn't feel rushed at all and my concerns (as a paranoid first time puppy owner!) were listened to with patience. Easy to get an appointment, clean waiting area and helpful receptionist.

More expensive than other dentists. Seems to get a kick-back from the antibiotics company as they prescribe so many even when its obvious the infection has cleared up.
