I would not recommend vets to anybody it is Rubish I am so happy at my new vets now Do not take your animals to Lower Place vets

Paid to have my dog sedated due to swollen paw vet allowed receptionist to set sedating injection up injected dog needle in dogs back unattached to syringe vet had to search for needle rejabher said 5 ten mins 40 mins later dog is wide eyes still reception took her in said gonna try x-ray the way she is no mention of mess up with needle took dog in could hear dog yelping in agony ask vet why we had to squeeze puss out goes why not when dog is asleep another ten mins Wald dog out went to show us x-ray dog after an hour out cold on floor reception ist jab dog whilst on floor out cold goes to vet she's not qualified to jab a dog no reply showed us x-rays vet can't tell if tumour even with x-rays in front of her and at no time did they check dogs temperature or heart and that now dog is weeing n scared when called thinking we r going to squeeze it nice to pets in fro t of people back at vets disgusting behavior now denying it all

Charge to sedate dog and end up with needle in dog and syringe not attached waited 40 mins dog still awake so they x-rayed her while awake and to top it off cudt diagnose if dog had tumour and dog was yelping in agony while there doing x-ray asked y said had to squeeze swelling walked dog out to reception to me ten mins dog out cold on floor and receptionist jabbed dog with painkillers when sedating finally worked goes to vet receptionist ain't qualified sure to jab dog you have been warned avoid this vets dog only went for infection in paw now can't stand on it at all

What a wonderful caring practice this is. I've been going for about a year now and travel on the tram from Failsworth plus a taxi ride. Sarah ,Natalie and Ivona the vet, worked miracles on my 20 year old cat Patches with a broken leg. My previous vet had refused to treat her, refused to even X ray the leg, saying it would not heal due to her age. Lower Place proved him wrong and the care they gave her was phenomenol. The leg DID heal and Patches loved to wander around the waiting room. I am now going on a regular basis with my other cat, Patches mate, Morag. She is 16, going on 17 and has cancer as well as kidney issues. They stop at nothing to put the animals care first, so much love and compassion for all the patients. It's a very small waiting room, but so very friendly and welcoming. People talk to each other, unlike in large posh waiting rooms at other practices. The atmosphere means that animals are relaxed, and owners feel supported. I wish I'd found this practice many years ago.

Staff are great! Receptionist was fab! Spent more time chatting then my pet was in to see the vet Antonio who I think is in the wrong job. Would make a better fashion designer after his efforts on my rabbits new baby grow coat. Pulling out her staples and then her stitches we felt the best we could do is stop her pulling them out! Great staff. Would put my trust in them to care for any of my rabbits.

Sarah is excelent, even though Ian is sadly missed, Sarah has kept the place going.I have no problems bringing my two yorkshire terriors to lower place vets, as they get the best treatment in the area...

I would certainly go to Crown Vets who have a vet that I know each time. The rates are fair and the treatment isn't stretched esp. when you say you have insurance. Ian isn;t at Lowerplace vets anymore...
