£76 for ear drops for my dog. Not sure if that's value for money. You make your own mind up. The guy who looked at my dog was pleasant enough. Surgery was empty & looked as though it could do with being refurbished. Probably be no more expensive than any other vets but they just play on your love for your pet.

Thanks so much for the lovely card we received today and thank you so much for all your efforts and compassion when our little Snowy died. Unfortunately with all of the upset I didn't get the nurse's name who was with Snowy when he passed but her compassion with us was truly touching and I won't forget how kind she was, so I hope this thank you can find it's way to her. Thanks also to the vet who treated Snowy Laurence, and to James for all his compassion and kindness on the phone. All of your compassion has been appreciated.

Different vet and plan every day, very poor explanation of fees and promises that yes that's definately all there is to pay. Letters from pet plan in September/early October stating that all the claims put in by them had been paid and approved. This morning I recieved a letter (nearly 4 months later) to say we still owed them money! When I phoned then they were not at all apologetic about a) telling me that all was settled when it wasn't and b) waiting nearly 4 months to claim the money back. When you lose a pet the last thing you want is reminders and bills several months later. Add to this that when we took our other dog in to be put to sleep they gave us the consent form with someone else's pets name and details! Overall very poor experience.

We would just like to say thank you to the reception staff, vets and nursing staff for all their wonderful care today to our darling cat Lucy. We knew she was in a bad way when she came in but we know you did everything you could to help her. We were particularly grateful for the care and compassion shown to us when we agreed to let her pass away with peace and dignity. Allowing us the time to spend with her before she went to rainbow bridge was and will always remain very special to us. Thank you again for everything.

Had to take our Caesar here for the past few nights as he's been having fits, we are still awaiting results but I just want to thank the whole team at Petmedics from the Reception Staff, Nurses and Vets as they really couldn't have done any more for us and him. Recently we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our 12 yr old beloved dog fall asleep for the last time, while this was the worst thing imaginable for us the care and support given to us by vet silvana and the attending nurse ( sorry I didn't get her name) was amazing, they stayed with us and our beautiful Annie every step of the way and helped her pass with dignity, thankyou so much xxx

Thank you so much for fixing Bella's paw tonight. Cannot praise your service enough. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and my poor pooch was in straight away and had a metal clip removed from her paw pad within five minutes. So impressed with your service and thank you especially to the kind receptionist who put both me and my dog at ease and made sure she was seen and pain free as soon as we arrived. Also thank you to the vet who was brave enough to get up close with an extremely terrified and pained dog and fixed her so quickly. Definitely a five star service!

I can't fault petmedics, I don't know if they charge a little bit more than the usual rate but they are all really helpful!
Especially the reception staff I've had plenty of advice over the phone wh...
I can't fault petmedics, I don't know if they charge a little bit more than the usual rate but they are all really helpful!
Especially the reception staff I've had plenty of advice over the phone when they consult the vet and then given me the advice over the phone which has saved me bringing my doggies in and also the charge of seeing a vet and all their advice has worked up to now.
I've never had an experience with any of my doggies where they have been seriously unwell so I can't comment on the whole procedure of the money and the insurance but I have taken out an insurance which the vets suggested to me and advertise everywhere in the vets and they explained the whole procedure that basically they do the claim for me on the computer and my insurance company just send them the money.
But overall they have always paid attention to my doggies and made sure they are seen to appropriately and efficiently and even though my dogs hate going they always get a few treats after their dreaded injections.
Also not to mention that if you join petmedics you also get a discount if you have to take your beloved pet to the hospital in Salford as they must be the same company which is always a bonus as it can be very expensive especially if you haven't got insurance....every penny helps :)

I brought my grandads westie in 2 weeks ago, he'd been vomiting and had constant diarrhoea for 24 hours. We referred by the local vets who were concerned because his core temp was very low, his heartbeat was very fast and he was going into shock. When we got there we thought he would have to be put to sleep, we were sure he'd been poisoned, we even said goodbye to him, we were inconsolable! My grandad couldn't afford the huge emergency fees and the vet, Laurence I believe her name was, was determined to help us within the realms of what my grandad could afford. 2 drips, rehydrate sachets and an anti sickness injection later, the improvement was unbelievable! With a lot of patience and small amounts of bland food, a week later he was back to normal. We've now taken over Frankies care as my grandad agreed that he was too old to have Frankies best interests at heart. He's a happy, loving and energetic dog and we're so glad Petmedics gave him the chance he deserved. We wouldn't be without him!

Had to take our Caesar here for the past few nights as he's been having fits, we are still awaiting results but I just want to thank the whole team at Petmedics from the Reception Staff, Nurses and Vets as they really couldn't have done any more for us and him. Everyone really goes out their way to help and thank you for making a very stressful situation easier. We both really appreciate everything you have done so far. Great place would highly recommend xxxx

Recently we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our 12 yr old beloved dog fall asleep for the last time, while this was the worst thing imaginable for us the care and support given to us by vet silvana and the attending nurse ( sorry I didn't get her name) was amazing, they stayed with us and our beautiful Annie every step of the way and helped her pass with dignity, thankyou so much xxx

Thank you so much for fixing Bella's paw tonight. Cannot praise your service enough. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and my poor pooch was in straight away and had a metal clip removed from her paw pad within five minutes. So impressed with your service and thank you especially to the kind receptionist who put both me and my dog at ease and made sure she was seen and pain free as soon as we arrived. Also thank you to the vet who was brave enough to get up close with an extremely terrified and pained dog and fixed her so quickly. Definitely a five star service!

I can't fault petmedics, I don't know if they charge a little bit more than the usual rate but they are all really helpful!
Especially the reception staff I've had plenty of advice over the phone wh...
I can't fault petmedics, I don't know if they charge a little bit more than the usual rate but they are all really helpful!
Especially the reception staff I've had plenty of advice over the phone when they consult the vet and then given me the advice over the phone which has saved me bringing my doggies in and also the charge of seeing a vet and all their advice has worked up to now.
I've never had an experience with any of my doggies where they have been seriously unwell so I can't comment on the whole procedure of the money and the insurance but I have taken out an insurance which the vets suggested to me and advertise everywhere in the vets and they explained the whole procedure that basically they do the claim for me on the computer and my insurance company just send them the money.
But overall they have always paid attention to my doggies and made sure they are seen to appropriately and efficiently and even though my dogs hate going they always get a few treats after their dreaded injections.
Also not to mention that if you join petmedics you also get a discount if you have to take your beloved pet to the hospital in Salford as they must be the same company which is always a bonus as it can be very expensive especially if you haven't got insurance....every penny helps :)

I brought my grandads westie in 2 weeks ago, he'd been vomiting and had constant diarrhoea for 24 hours. We referred by the local vets who were concerned because his core temp was very low, his heartbeat was very fast and he was going into shock. When we got there we thought he would have to be put to sleep, we were sure he'd been poisoned, we even said goodbye to him, we were inconsolable! My grandad couldn't afford the huge emergency fees and the vet, Laurence I believe her name was, was determined to help us within the realms of what my grandad could afford. 2 drips, rehydrate sachets and an anti sickness injection later, the improvement was unbelievable! With a lot of patience and small amounts of bland food, a week later he was back to normal. We've now taken over Frankies care as my grandad agreed that he was too old to have Frankies best interests at heart. He's a happy, loving and energetic dog and we're so glad Petmedics gave him the chance he deserved. We wouldn't be without him!
