Our practice is RCVS Tier 2 Accredited and from our Chepstow Veterinary Centre base we run one of the largest and most capable Veterinary practices in the area.
We serve clients in the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire and Gwent area from our Chepstow and Caldicot.
Our reputation for cost-effective, holistic solutions, treatment and client referrals has enabled us to serve a wide area.
With three experienced vets and an enthusiastic and well resourced support team of nurses and reception staff, we are confident that we can provide the highest quality customer care and veterinary care for owners of domestic pets.

Consultation etc good although Unbeknown to me when asking for flea treatment, I found upon returning that I was previously charged £30 for a 3month prescription, I didn't ask for a 3month prescript...
Consultation etc good although Unbeknown to me when asking for flea treatment, I found upon returning that I was previously charged £30 for a 3month prescription, I didn't ask for a 3month prescription! To make matters worse the initial treatment I was given instead of going on the cat went all over my hand..due to not bring informed of the correct way to break the seal I was also informed the Micro chip that was done had somehow?? been put in the system incorrectly so there's a good chance had that not of been noticed and my £1200 persian cat had been pinched , I would not of gotten him back ever!.... Also The flea treatment I was going to be recharged for! Disappointed, and I have now moved To Marlows.

Friendly, knowledgeable, never have to wait too long for an appointment. They look after my cat and my small flock of chickens. Highly recommended.

We have used the VHC as our Cattery Vets for 16 yrs. They are always good with the (mainly) cats and nothing seems any trouble. We often get urgent appointments at short notice. We can highly recommen...

Just wanted to say massive thanks for today! My 4 ferrets were so well looked after and so happy with the services provided. Even happy with the bill! :) It's so difficult to find a good vet for ferre...
Just wanted to say massive thanks for today! My 4 ferrets were so well looked after and so happy with the services provided. Even happy with the bill! :) It's so difficult to find a good vet for ferrets and I'm so pleased it's just across the road from me! My fuzzies have all recovered and don't even have a single bruise from all the needles ;) One happy ferret mummy :)

This practice has looked after my dogs since we moved to the area in 2002. All of the staff are friendly, caring and professional. My dogs have always been treated superbly both in and out of hours. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. I reccomend them whole heartedly!

Consultation etc good although Unbeknown to me when asking for flea treatment, I found upon returning that I was previously charged £30 for a 3month prescription, I didn't ask for a 3month prescription! This practice has looked after my dogs since we moved to the area in 2002. All of the staff are friendly, caring and professional. My dogs have always been treated superbly both in and out of hours. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. I reccomend them whole heartedly!
