Portchester Vets is an independent Veterinary Surgery run by our small team of 3 - Jane Sykes(Practice Manager and reception) , Trudy Langdale (Vet) and Serita Vyas, (Registered Veterinary Nurse). We are dedicated to creating a caring clinic for the pets in our local community. Portchester has not had a fully equipped Veterinary Surgery in the past, but we are very pleased to say we are finally putting this right! The project has been a long time in the planning, the building has been stripped, re-organised and fitted with brand new modern surgical and medical facilities.

This has to be one of the friendliest vets we have been to. Always accommodating and helpful. They even mop up with a smile! Nothing is too much trouble. Our Dalmatians received the best care and advice, even in awful circumstances. We lost our Elvis on new years day but we know we did all we could for him. Harvey had his OAP checkup and Trixie had her teeth done. Henry had the chop so we have had a good variety of treatments and some excellent follow up advice. Top Rated!

I phoned the surgery this morning and got straight in the afternoon with my German shepherd scarlett she was limping and I was concerned about her sickness the staff are amazing happy and helpful I would recommend portchester vets to anyone that would take there pets and it's so worth taking out the pet plan too help with costs. She's on medication and now on the road to recovery.

Phones for an emergency appointment for my dog and I am so impressed with their service. We were seen straight away and all of the vets were amazing. This isn't my usual practice but I will from now on transfer all my dogs to this practice. First class service with a very reasonable cost. How to I transfer both my dogs to your vets from now on? 5*******

Just wanted to say thank you so much to the lovely veterinary nurses who helped us this evening after my little girl took a tumble just as we were arriving for an appointment with our puppy. We made quite an entrance all bloodied and panicking but they were so helpful taking care of our dog and looking after us. Would highly recommend for both vet services and panicked mum services!

We changed to Portchester Vets after a negative experience at another vets and are so pleased! Our 1 year old Chihuahua needed neutering and they were so kind and attentive to him whilst in their car...
We changed to Portchester Vets after a negative experience at another vets and are so pleased! Our 1 year old Chihuahua needed neutering and they were so kind and attentive to him whilst in their care, they were supportive of me too (feeling a nervous wreck when dropping him off!) and keeping me updated with his progress. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet. You can tell they love what they do and are not just about making money.

I have recently changed to Portchester vets after being recommended by a friend. All the staff are lovely, really friendly and Milo doesn't seem to be so scared about going to see them, like he has been in the passed at other vets. It's lovely to see they care about the animals as well as the owners. They answered all my questions I had and made me feel happy and relaxed. Milo loved all the fuss!! I can't fault them in anyway. I would highly recommend this practise,the staff are so caring and considerate.The premises are immaculate and has a lovely atmosphere.The charges are very reasonable but it comes across that your pet is their main priority.If you want the best for your pet then this is the place to go.I would like to thank Trudy and the girls for going the extra mile for our poorly westie Max.Keep up the good work as you are going to have amazing success.
