We have used Ancells Vets for many years and have seen it go downhill. My husband phoned last week for an appointment as our very elderly dog had started vomiting. He was given an appointment for 8 days time! We have noticed that they have a high staff turnover, you never see the same vet twice. I would strongly advise you seek treatment elsewhere. Have been using this vets for 6 years, but last week I cancelled my pet plan, which doesn't run out until the 29th of June as you have to give 4 weeks notice. So had 3 months on account, my 2 cats were due there boosters, so I called and explained to the receptions and said I would pay the difference and was this ok. She said yes. So when I took my cats in on Friday I explained to the vet the same thing and she also said yes..... But when I came out was then charged over £100 which I said no and was told I had to pay. After the reception going in a couple of times to see the vet she eventually came out, and I said I explained before I took the cats in, in which she said.... The reception where not there when I said it, I said are you calling me a liar. I was told by 2 employers I could pay the difference, She said she would talk to the financial manager and I was told today I had to pay. Will never return. Read Less
